pity party
I shouldn't have given my husband a hard time about going to play tennis - it's just that he plays a lot (Tues, Wed, Sat, and sometimes Sunday) and he is involved in tons of other things ~ including volunteer "stuff". He has to be on the go. If I'm not going to a meeting ~ I'm home alone night after night (or so it seems). Maybe it's bothering more now because I'm very worried about our middle son AND I found out (after having a mammogram) that I have to go for a biopsy. I know that 80% of the time when calcification is found - it's benign ~ but I can't help but go down that path. So I'm having a pity party. In a bit I will go for a walk because it is a beautiful evening but still. I just would prefer to be with him. Strange, huh?

Can you tell him you need his support? I had to get quite emotional when I had a scare a few years ago, as DH just didn\'t focus on my anxieties--I was the strong one, and that was what he expected. Every relationship is different, but a lot of breast dysfunction seems to occur around nurturing issues.
I can hear your loneliness, and I sometimes get the impression you are carrying the entire family through your strength. It\'s considerable, what you are doing.
I send prayers for you to get the loving care and attention you need, especially in this personally stressful time.
