Pissed off... venting

OK, this morning i went out to feed and water all the horses and cows... i wanted to take mine out to roam around on the grass while i worked. i did that, they both tie well and no problems, well here comes the dog, of people who are living here as well.... trying to chase the horses, im standing right there, i had to yell at him and tell him no a few times before he ran off. but in the mean time he got the horses riled up, my colt got tangled and fell, luckily my horses trust me enough to not freak out if i am next to them, so i untangled him, but then i couldnt get them to just be calm like they were. so i put them away, and i went to go talk to the dogs owner. i said, where is teddy bear? they said why, i said he needs to be kenneled for a while, he's in trouble. he just ran right along between me, after i told him not to and tried to chase the horses and got us all tangled. their answer???? oh, its cause he knew they werent suposed to be where they were, he was just doing his job. Doing his job my ASS. i was standing right there, he came running up, i said NO. he ran around me and did it anyway. he wasnt trying to corral them.. he was trying to chase them. i mean, accidents happen, but i was more pissed at the owners right now, for defending thier dog like that, like its no concern. what if someone is riding on a horse who spooks? not that anyone gets to do much riding around here. i guess i will just have to kennel him next time. but seriously. they should have at least been concerned that he wasnt listening. i could have been hurt. as well as the horses. also i really need them to go out on that grass. my mare is stressin out, so she is losing weight, my colt still needs to gain weight from his colic...  and they dropped the food supply. now they only get one flake of alfalfa, and one of grass morning and night. they are not on grain cause they dont want them to be on it and not the other horses.  Katie has plans, but they always have plans that never get done. dont mean to be rude but its true.  horses are suposed to get a bigger area, and they are all suposed to be moved within a month. I really appreciate them taking me and my horses in right now, but its really frustrating. i want to help out where i can, and im told i cant. and there is PLENTY of grass to be eaten down, and my horses are just fine on grass without foundering, or paying extra money for hay and grain, it would help put some weight on them.  im embarassed. my horses were always in great shape... and they look like crap. their mane is matted and i cant get it undone cause i have no place to brush it out here... and someone took my showsheen.. ok, just venting.
