Piotique Saturday 09/28/13
Piotique is the local city wide celebration where I live. It is a big deal in this small town and people come from all over to attend. It is a weekend of class reunions,etc. There is a big parade in the afternoon and lots of booths selling all kinds of goodies!
Granddaughter danced and was in the parade. It sounds like she did a good job!
I survived my meeting today although I have a list of things to get done in the next couple of days ASAP! Things went well and I think we have a couple of neat ideas for the dinner in place.
I came home and even finally got a nap with 6 yr old granddaughter and then later hubby in the big bed! LOL That was a first in a long time we have all 3 slept in the same bed together.
I came home with my left leg hurting and kind of tender to the touch. Not certain what that all meant but it went away after I took a nap. It hurt just to touch in certain areas but NOT the area where the DVT's had been. I don't know if I just over did with all the walking,etc and not much sleep or what. It wasn't hot or swelled or anything like that. It just hurt to even touch my leg.
Baby GD is getting to be a lead ass! It bothers me when she lays on my chest these days. She is finally turning into a real little chunky monkey.
