Pioneer day
today is utah's pioneer day. i made a covered wagon and we (my dad mostly and i) pulled the kids along the parade route in our neighborhood. then we went to a pot luck dinner. it was really fun, but it would have been nice to start it at 7pm because of the heat.
i have the grand kids like usual and they are quietly coloring.i hope that the activities of the day has made them tired enough to go to bed early. guess that is about all for today..........have a good night everyone.

It sounds like you had a fun day even with the heat. The potluck was fun. There is always a lot of great food because everyone brings their best food.
things are good with my dad,it kinda bugs me when he tells his friends that he isn\'t just a good grandpa but a great grandpa, it isn\'t the way he talks about it but the way he says it. we are getting along better. yrs, it was a great day... 8^)
