Pinconning County Park

The snap of my spiffy spandex super cape is quite distracting this morning. Hubs is jumping the Child Protective Service hoops to help stabilize the latest round of the not-so-merry-go-round from YS's latest domestic dispute. There are more levels than I can count which make me feel obligated to be there, solving all the problems of everyone involved, or at least providing my GKs with a safe haven in the storm.

But the uneasy feeling that my "not working" hobbies are part of the problem continues. I have analyzed those yaddahs beyond the realm of reason and donae feel inclined to attempt to find yet another way to phrase the analysis. Reviewing my journal entries of the analysis only heightens my sense that I need to lovingly detach from this round, too. I care deeply, but I have no control over the other adults involved, whether they call me Mom, Monster-in-law or Hun. By my personal measure of the family cycle, the first cycle without my not-working intervention is not yet complete. Hubs and I were cycling like mad dogs when I left for my mother's funeral pilgrimage. ES and his SO took their spin while I was doing the volunteer painting project in Delaware. YS and family's turn now. Prayers in progress. Letting God lead the dance. I honestly don't know the right and wrong steps of this complex family dance. Listening for the quiet voice.

Sunrise over the Saginaw Bay was spectacular this morning. All the ripening raspberries on the trails were a major tease. I finally found a patch with a few ripe berries in it for my breakfast snack. Fresh picked wild berries get my vote for the best breakfast on the planet.

Best breakfast finds ate in an around the meadows. Thinking about you and mentally taking the ride with you. But this homework is a big chain today.

definitely a rocky road with ys, os,hub...so right about No Control and wanting to help, fix what needs to be done by them, for them...life learning lessons suck....I have raspberries in my backyard...they haven't popped yet...I'll have to grab them before the birds gobble them all...missed them last year...I like them when they are sort of deep red...light red, too bitter...many years ago when John was little we went on a nature walk and brought back a seedling...now the dang thing is Huge, despite cutting it back almost to the ground last year. Happy Travels :)
