PINCHED NERVE

I went to a new doctor yesterday.  However back when my pain began in my feet,I had gone to his office but he was at another office so didn't go back.  As my last resort I went back and requested him.  So he comes in and he was not bad to look at(haha).  So this was the outcome.  He did an ultrasound.  The never sin my legs to my feet due to the Pinched Nerve at L5, I do not get the fluid needed for the never to do their job.  The fluid that gets to the lower legs just  builds up blocking the nerve also.  He said "Until the Back is fixed, there is nothing that will stop the pain."  I have decided with all the new testing, I will go to the Neurosurgeon Thursday see if he is willing to do surgery.  One thing I discussed with the new doctor was what the Neuro Surgeon in Texas mentioned that maybe one of the screws could be touching the nerve causing the pain, I had read that the screws and bolts can be removed.  The new doctor felt that would be the best and most easy way to go.  So I will discuss that also.  The BIG ISSUE except for the everyday pain Ken had the pain I have due to a Tumor on his brain.  So everyday the pain reminds me of what Ken went through.  He would say it is like someone beating as hard as they can on the bottom of the feet.  The pain I have does not help with my PTSS that takes me back to the times I would watch my sweet son Ken walk in this severe pain.  How I wish Ken had not gone through all the horrible pain that mean cancer caused.  Say a prayer for me that someway I will get some relief.  I appreciate all the ideals to help with my pain as it has really knocked me from doing anything.  Love to all, the old member and new members.  Whatever type of pain your going through, I pray for you all.  Sandi
