Menghui Wang has a passion for living and promoting a healthy active lifestyle and believes that each patient has their own unique experiences that shape them, including their injuries. With this knowledge, he will design a treatment program that is specific to each patient utilizing a combination of manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and education. Menghui Wang has a special interest in treating shoulder related injuries such as sport or work-related overuse tendinopathy injuries. Menghui Wang will endeavor to get you back to moving, working, playing, and feeling your best.
During my schooling I was fortunate to be able to work and volunteer as a student kinesiology, athlete health liaison , and high school sports coach. At the age of 19, I became a Commercial Helicopter Pilot, flying for 6 years back home in Australia. I also spent a few years teaching Aerodynamics and other Aviation courses to the military as a Helicopter Theory Instructor. My most recent experience in the health and fitness industry extends back 7 years as a boxing coach and fitness trainer, managing gyms and fitness studios in Australia and Vancouver. Before attending VCMT, I completed a Kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley. During this time I also worked as a Recreation Worker, leading and facilitating various programs for children and youth.

I want to be able to provide healthcare for my community and make a safe space for fellow queer and trans folks especially those recovering from top surgery. I was a Registered Kinesiologist working with the general population to increase their overall health and fitness, as well as recover from injuries to get back to their normal. I love VCMT because it provides friendly environment and the program prepares students to become excellent RMTs. The sense of community, it is a really welcoming and supportive environment that helps you every step of the way to become the best possible RMT you can be. Before pursuing RMT, I was completing a Bachelor of Science Kinesiology Major degree at Simon Fraser university in the Active Health and Rehabilitation Concentration.
On the weekends he enjoys eating a lot of food and spending time with his loved ones. For more than 2,500 years, acupuncture has been a safe, effective, and drug free form of medical treatment. No matter the condition, acupuncture addresses the whole person and aims to restore balance and prevent disease.
Ft. clinic is located in a professional medical building, shared with 3 separate family physician offices. We welcome people of all genders, orientations, and ethnicities at our clinic as clients and as practitioners. We currently have spaces for Rmts, osteopaths, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, counselors, chiropractors, or many other types of practitioners. We are hoping to find practitioners that are easy going, caring, love what they do and can work well with other people. New grads and/or seasoned RMT’s welcome to apply to service our new clientele in our conveniently located clinic space.
When I first discovered foam rolling as a form of therapeutic self-massage, I was instantly intrigued and wanted to learn more. I then took courses to further improve my knowledge of myofascial release, including Fascial Stretch Therapy . My goal is to be able to integrate personal training, massage therapy, and homecare modalities for clients that would allow them to function at their peak performance.

They go above and beyond to ensure we are not only ready for the RMT world but also give us the skills to be successful. I also appreciate that we are able to take what we are learning and put it into practice. The people and learning environment has a very positive and encouraging atmosphere. They are so supportive Evergereen Pilates studio Coquitlam and encouraging and really create an environment for you to grow and feel like you can excel and do your best. Before pursuing RMT, I graduated from the Hospitality Management program at VCC, spending the last 10 years in the hospitality industry. I have also been active in running, completing many half marathons.
Liang believes massage is the most efficient method in reducing pain originating in the body’s soft tissue. In his spare time Liang enjoys practicing Chinese Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Currently, Tyler volunteers as an alumni mentor in the UBC Kinesiology Mentorship Program. In terms of his athletic background, Tyler was a competitive powerlifter and won the BCPA 2015 Winter Open Bench Press competition for his weight class and age. Yelim takes a holistic approach when treating her patients as she believes different factors influence one’s wellbeing. In the clinic, she carefully assesses and listens to patients’ needs to establish an individualized treatment plan to attain specific treatment goals and achieve their fullest. Yelim continues to broaden her perspective as an RMT by taking continuing education courses, such as Neurokinetic therapy and pregnancy (pre/post-partum), to provide a more targeted care for her patients. During her day off, she enjoys doing pilates and playing tennis as she believes an active lifestyle can be portrayed in the quality of care that she provides to her clients.
She has a special interest in treating sports related injuries, pre and post-natal, and headaches. Tina graduated from Vancouver College of Massage therapy and has completed continuing education in Myofascial Release Techniques and Infant Massage. Outside of work Jackson enjoys an active lifestyle; his main hobbies include volleyball, ice hockey, and weight training.
Before starting the massage therapy program I worked in the corporate world and I had the opportunity to travel extensively. I believe that movement is important for a healthy body and mind, and I have a regular Pilates practice. If someone is complaining of an ache or pain – I am drawn to and hope I can help in a positive way.
