Physical therapy beginning next week!

I was just called to start physical therapy next week. It will be every day M to F at 9.
I have to admit, I am a little nervous. The set up is weird. A 'taxi-like' ambulance will pick me and others up. On the return, I have to wait for the ambulance to fill up, and then I can get a ride back. I have no idea how much time is going to be involved. I am supposed to be ready from 8, and the appointment is at 9.
Anyone else with physical therapy, does it mean you can skip regular exercising while it is happening? So that at least I don't have to also fit my regular exercise routine in.

i did--PT will make you sore(in a good way). its just opverachieving to try to do regular excersizes after being given a work out in the morning---PT is going to try to find your upper & lower limits--don\'t add your normal excersize--they will give you homework to do--do them on the weekend so your in good form M-F, Have fun---its a relief to have an expert focusing on what you need to do to maintain.

Thanks for the feedback! I just don\'t want to be lame, because I will have to be going to work in the afternoons. . .
When I have tried to add exercises at home (like lifting free weights at home) I have injured/pulled things and suffered for weeks afterwards!
