Physical Pain
Today I'm having some bad cramps. I called my RE and am waiting to hear back. I think it's my period starting? I haven't had any real cramping since right after the D&C last Friday. I usually get pretty bad cramps with my period, so I'm hoping this is normal...

It could be your period. I didn\'t really have cramping or bleeding after mine. My period came a couple weeks later and it took a couple periods for my hcg levels to drop.
I remember my RE telling me it took about 2 weeks after a D & C for your HCG to drop to 0 so it would be pretty early for your period. Glad you called your RE to see what\'s up, maybe it\'s normal sometimes after a D & C since it is only 4 days out?
Sorry also meant to say maybe it is tissue that needs to pass still, sometimes a D & C does not get it all. Hope your feeling better soon!

I agree with Andi, it took 3 or 4 weeks for me to have a regular period after my losses, but I did bleed for a while after my last d&c, I hope your RE gets back to you asap and that you start to feel better real soon! Hugs!! XO

Thanks everyone. Its not the bleeding that concerns me, its the bad cramps that feel just like my period.
Sorry you are feeling pain. With 2 of my mcs I had on and off bad cramps for the month post D&C. It was never worst than AF cramps but it was really annoying.

Pain was so intense. Advil helped but still in pain. RE said does not sound normal so I have to go for a sono in the morning. If it gets bad they said to go to the ER. this is like insult to injury and a nightmare

Gosh I am so sorry. I\'ve had those intense cramps with my loss. They were 10x worse than period cramps. I alternated Motrin with Tylenol. It helped a little. I hope you get answers and feel better!
I hope the sono gets good news. I had extreme pain about 3 weeks after my D&C and that\'s where they found a \'cyst\' which turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy. My doc and u/s tech mismanaged it and so in the end my tube burst. I tell you not to scare you, but so that you can ask important questions. Chances of that are hopefully very low in which case everything will show that you\'re close to your period, and within a couple days you\'ll feel better. Hugs.
