The convoy finally arrived at the lindo wing at st. mary's hospital.

“We were just standing outside chilling and talking and then it all happened.
The cars showed up. They were very, very simple cars — it was very discreet...the protection officers jumped out and they all rushed in.
It was a very swift manoeuvre. The Duchess went in and the cars were gone very quickly — within a minute. That was it.”
Parshotam’s Twitter feed was flooded with congratulatory messages. Royal photographer @RegalEyes wrote, “Congratulations to @therealjesal for scooping the world this morning and letting us all know that #BabyCambridge is on his, or her, way!”
Radio producer @AndrewJaffrey wrote,
“Congrats on getting the scoop of a generation.” And the style blog @WhatKateWore wrote:
“A tip of the tiara to you, well done! :)”
Despite the fact that Parshotam and Sacks broke what’s possibly the biggest story of the year,
the pair respectfully declined to shoot the royal couple getting out of the car and heading into the hospital. “We had decided in advance we were not going to take a photo of her,” said Parshotam.
“I made that decision — she’s a woman in labour. I just wanted to photograph the commotion and convoy of cars. That was a personal decision we both made. To take a picture of her would have been overstepping the mark."
this is so fun! i still remember the whole deal with Diana like it was a few years ago, and its THIRTY years ago! lol. Hope she is watching and proably really mad at all the photogs even though, it sounds like this batch actually has a tiny REGARD for the other's privacy....at least a little.
As far as betting, i guessed, july 11 or july 22, i guessed female and i guessed alexandra for a name. surprised i got anything on there right. i NEVER suspected a male. they named him george alexander today, july 24. where did the last ten years go?

I was fun waiting for the birth of the new Prince who may be King one day. There are three in front of him so that will probably never happen for him.
I was really hoping they would have a girl and maybe have the name of Diana somewhere in her name. I\'m sure that would have really pissed off the Queen Mother. :-> But I would have loved it!!
you mean camilla? (the queen mother was queen elizabeth\'s mother. she died.) yeah, camilla would have a cow. good idea. lol.
now its like pins and needles to see what the little boy looks like, i remember thinking like this when it was william. i started tina brown\'s biography of diana, its good. no photos, just all the stuff. she infers diana hated being royal -- too bad she didn\'t realize that sooner. she also says that the reason she was so outraged is discovering charles was never in love with her at all. it horrified her. what a disaster. she felt like her life was a total lie, guess it was, except for raising the kids and her public relations/charity work. very sad.
