Tornado Alley is the area of the United States where tornadoes are most frequent. Although an official location is not "defined,"
the areas in between the Rocky Mountains and Appalachian Mountains are the areas usually associated with it.
Tornadoes are most common here because it is the region where warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico meets cold, dry air from the Rocky Mountains and Canada,
creating intense, tornado-producing thunderstorms known as supercells. It is the most dangerous place to live in the United States, yet people live there anyway? There is a "godfather's" quote about that, that some people "want to die."

I am sooooo afraid of Tornadoes. I don\'t know how people in those areas deal with it every year during Tornado season.
Hurricane\'s here can be horrible but we get day\'s of warning and we evacuate. Tornadoes come with hurricane\'s, but we are not home.
God bless the families that lost so many loved one\'s in the last two Oklahoma tornadoes.
