THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY ARE NOT RESCUED,FOSTERED,ADOPTED, LETS TRY TO HELP AS MUCH AS WE CAN ,,,,
working in rescue HAS to become part of our culture. People can't understand what they haven't seen, been taught, lived...just like volunteering to hold babies for an hour or two once per month at hospitals - i think a lot of people don't even know there is a NEED for this, or that this exists ... babies who have no one else or their person isn't showing up - it has to become part of our culture to do that.
instead, our culture is greed - capitalism, buying things, million dollar weddings, bullying and seeing how much crime a person can get away with (whether they go to jail or are caught or not, its still crime and they are still a criminal - still depraved and still repulsive and disgusting)...its sick. that is what our culture teaches. being heroic and caring is no longer part of our culture - they don't even teach civics in elementary school, they actually got rid of civics text books as part of the curriculum in 1971. people can't know what they have never been taught.

I hate this! I love animals and people that rescue them, and care enough to write these journals! These celebrities have all this money and they spend it on drugs and booze and fun vacations. How about building a shelter and saving a creation of God\'s by giving it a meal! A home! A friend. I\'d adopt\'m all if I could!!
Anyone who can hurt an animal is subhuman. End of story!
i cried when i saw this as well...by now, i\'ve been doing rescue as a hobby for ten years, and i don\'t cry much....this is heartbreaking. it has to be stopped!
It happens everywhere, and that doesn\'t make it any better anywhere.
So glad my new puppy won\'t be one of those!
In Washington State, we have several no kill shelters. I worked for one as a volunteer. The only way they were put down, is if they were sick and no hope, or vicious and no hope.
These pictures are very hard to look at. So very, very sad.
PS I have three dogs, and I am thinking of volunteering again in the fall.
HELLO DEAR FRIEND, ANIMALS ARE BEING ABUSED AND KILL FOR MANY REASON, I WAS YEARS AGO IN AN ANIMAL *****THOSE THAT DEFENDED ANIMALS ARE IN JAIL, LIKE CRIMINALS.
WHEN THE TV SHOWED A PROGRAM OF THE RESCUE ON HOW THE ANIMALS ARE KILLLED, THEY HAD SO MANY CALLS ,IT WAS STOPPED, NOBODY WANTS TO FACE THE EVIL AND WICKED TRUTH..
WHEN MY DAUGTER AND HER HUSBAND ASKED SEVERAL RESCUE FOR A SMALL DOG THEY WERE REFUSED \'\'YOU DON\'T HAVE A GARDEN\'\' ,THEY TOLD THEM THE DOG WOULD BE WITH MY MOM ALL DAY AND SHE HAS A HOUSE WITH GARDEN, AGAIN \'NO\', THEY TOLD THEM \'WE LIVE ACROSS THE PARK\', AGAIN \'NO\'..STUPID PEOPLE, BOTH MY DAUGHTER AND HUSBAND HAVE HIGH PAID JOBS, AND THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN THE BEST OF LIFE...GOT VERY UPSET, MY SON IN LAW WENT AND BOUGHT A CHIUHAUA FROM A BREEDER, SHE WANTED CASH, IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE, SHAME ON THOSE RESCUES, THEY DIDN\'T EVEN BOTHER TO CAME AND SEE WHERE THEY LIVED , IN A LUXURY APARTMENT, AND NOW HAV SOLD AND ARE MOVING ALL GOING WELL TO A HOUSE WITH GARDEN...HOPE THAT RESCUES CHANGE THEIR ATTITUDE, DOGS DON\'T NEED GARDENS THEY NEED LOVE\'\' AND WALKIES\'\'
LICI IS A SWEET LITTLE DOG AND EVEN IF SHE WAS BOUGHT , TO ME SHE WAS RESCUED FROM A BREEDER, AND I KEEP PRAYING FOR THEM TO STOP THIS EVIL TRADE..

I won\'t even go into how many purebreds my family had b/c we rescued them from death---b/c they weren\'t \"breed or AKC standard\"...once we found them in a sack tied up and yes, thrown into a ditch!.... and the wonderful mixed breeds (my best pal as a kid was my dog!).... and rescue organizations are very important. I\'d foster but I already have a feral cat shelter running out of my home where I work on socializing them.
Twice in my life I adopted an adult cat who would have been euthanized. The second one was a feral cat, blind in one eye from a fight. She became the best cat I ever had, so affectionate. It broke my heart when she unexpectedly died at home.
As far as children not getting the teaching of what it means to be human--well we see the results. So many teens are outright SOCIOPATHS. I am 67 years old. It was SO different when I was a kid.

I did all I could.. My cat Angela is a rescue. She was in a cage for a year before we adopted her. She is the sweetest kitty and I can\'t imagine life without her. I would love to get another cat, but Geo says no.
Most of my pets have been rescues except for those given to me. Believe me my next dog will be a rescue. God willing if I ever get my own place again.
It\'s so sad. Wish I was able bodied enough to do more. I, too have had a life of rescued dogs and cats. In fact, getting two more kittens today or tomorrow.
