enjoying chicken piccata (FROZEN!! by michael angelo) with artichokes.  hate to say this, but its better than the place we ate chicken parm at on wednesday.  lol.

i learned that with my window cracked open at work, everything can be heard that is said, below by the parking area, we're on a first floor?  wth?  and i learned that our new neighbor at the house down south, of maybe six months, claims (and is complaining???!!!) he can hear talk, tv, music, you name it two lots down from our house in his apartment (he's in the apartment complex near the intracoastal) wth?!  then our neighbor on the street behind us (who traps animals and the new neighbor claims bludgeoned the orange stray cat that is missing because it was messing with his own cat?!)  says that the new guy from the apartment that is complaining all the time, actually went over to his house to let him know that he could hear him talking and playing music and this is DURING THE DAY.  wth?  this is why people move to rural areas and buy 20 acres of land.  the guy behind us has lived there for about 40 years (most of his life) so quite a shock to have a newbie come over to "complain."  wth? 
 
never knew voices travel that easily, my windows are cracked 3 inches at the most, both here and at work, but i heard the voices myself, when i was outside our office about two rows down in the parking area.   i couldn't believe it.  makes me really think back and wonder.  lol.  lucky i haven't been cited for noise before this, we get pretty loud in here sometimes.  lol.   i think there is an after 10 p.m. noise law nationwide, isn't it.  since when can you not SPEAK during the day.  what is he facist?  he has been "spying" since he moved here last year (he's out of work) and NO he isn't old, senile and bored;  he's probably around 35?  i'm guessing.  lives with his mother and daughter and is from louisiana.  w claims the guy has a prison record or the guy's wife does, except w says odd things about everyone.  who knows? 
 
now i'm wondering how often we had our windows cracked open during office meetings up north (i'm big on fresh air).  the new guy at work isn't working out well at all.  grrrr.  and unless we get pay raises, finding people that are decent is realllly tough.  then i found out one of the places in our office complex gave their managers/supervisors $30,000 bonuses to move to this area from their office that closed.  wtf?  firing everyone at the former office and then giving out money to people who don't really need it and then shortchanging people with offices in the complex.  its sickening.  
 
went to the church sale and did not see much.  straightened their books for them, found a few i want.  the volunteers aren't thrilled because the church is altering its music to contemporary, and they prefer it as is.  johann strauss kind of stuff.  have a feeling some will move onto another church.  they have contemporary on saturday evenings already, so why change sunday.  or maybe they should do a sunday EVENING like many churches do, and make that contemporary and leave the sunday during the day alone?    
 
visited with rn to bring her antibiotic for her animal and hung out for a little while.  
 
had dinner out with j this week, we went to my favorite chicken parm place, but for some reason not as into it anymore.  i used to love their food.  ditto with the mom and pop place though i still love their breakfast, but not as extreme.  
 
had dinner at k's of course and watched a tyrone powers and myrna loy movie from 1938 i think it was.  i love old movies and nowadays, its more my speed.  lol.  it was about the earthquake in india in 1938, haven't looked it up for real yet.  k made pasta primavera with shrimp in this lettuce thing and baked it.  it was excellent and looked like something you would get in a restaurant.  amazing he can do that.  really need to journal daily, it helps jog my memory a lot when i do that.  
 
also talked to evelyn from the resorts which was a surprise.  lots of gossip with that.
