TOO CUTE NOT TO POST.
its raining outside for the passed few days. we need the rain. feels weird to be stuck inside though. even though the doctor ordered me to do the go straight home thing MONTHS ago. i can do that, but its incredibly boring. no wonder people get depressed. can't imagine living like that one's entire life. wow! don't like the working five days thing either. i've always worked 4 days. the five day thing makes you feel like work is your second home. yuck! and for less money also by the way. discovered sleeping with the electric blanket on high helps my back and neck a lot. yay!
currently reading bill clinton's My Life. he writes well. he's from Yale. i expected him to be poorer than he was. his mother was a nurse-anesthetist and his father died before he was born, so he was raised by his mother and grandparents, none of whom got along, but they all loved him, so it worked out for him. lol. the press always makes it sound like he was as poor as elvis, but he wasn't. he was what we view as middle class today and the sociological charts view as "working class" proletarian. he has a lot of interesting things to say about growing up that way and the prejudices that existed during his time. his parents owned a home right away, even though his mother was in college during her first year of marriage.
also just started Living Somewhere between Estrogen and Death by Barbara Johnson. its HILARIOUS. Its so funny that i'm already almost done with it and i only read it this morning. TONS of jokes in there to trade on line. i'll post a few on here too.
Put a bid on property, no idea if we will get it. i was negotiating it from the sauna at the spa. lol. its k's bid not mine.
a lot going on with sh's nursing home as well, so more real estate kind of stuff. i keep forgetting she is in chapter 11. m says, its the best thing for her, but you can tell HE is worn out. for some reason she gets what e calls "uppity" easily, and there is no real reason for it. can never tell what is what with her because she has bipolar and then i wonder, is that safe, to give out meds, when you are like that? she's also bad at math. so very scary. she does what my mother used to do with animals and calls a vet all the time, rather than put it together on her own like some of us do. then sh will say she is too broke to fix colonies because her vet bills are so huge. wth? she wanted to know how to unglue an eye on a calico with eye infection. that is BASIC. hot water with salt in it. i'm thinking how can you NOT know that you are a nurse? she also called because she has extra clindamycin. which is good, but its not for eyes. its an antibiotic for skin injuries. different antibiotics are for different things. i have a chart and rn has a book for that, so does hl. when in doubt, amoxicillin is broad spectrum and kills off just about any bacteria. yay! they are all used ORALLY only.
sh says hl has been ill. surprised hl is working. the last time i talked to her, hl was one of three who i know in some way who are retiring down to one day per week. sh says, hl will never really do that and started laughing. hl is a nurse practitioner (so as of this year, she should be grandfathered in, in florida as a "doctor of nursing" the law changed on that) switched to psychiatric nursing because it pays more and is easier. whatever. i think psychiatric would be creepy. i also think working would solve anything psychiatric. work is positive therapy and a confidence builder. if one job doesn't keep you occupied enough to stay sane, then get two jobs. i think that would do it. lol.
betty called to let me in on all this stuff going on over there and who needs help. had no idea. one day i should just become a minister, since i'm ministering already. am going to talk to fatherp over here and see if he wants to jump in and do something. they aren't catholic though, does that matter? it really shouldn't matter. they are living beings, isn't that enough?
lots of hideous stuff on facebook which matches the equally beautiful stuff. its beautiful and then you find out what is underneath. its easier not knowing the rest of it. lol. the memes make facebook worth it. the group comments are hilarious. the rest of it i ignore completely. i sit there saying you did WHAT?

carly, how big is your screen? i\'m on font number three and there is a way to make the screen larger. if i go back to journalling on 79pounds, i\'ll be using an even smaller one. lol. see you at the games.
