PHOTO of Osho: If you suffer it is because of you. If you feel blissful...you and you alone//

advent is NOW.  its a time when each person should be getting rid of all that is bad in them.  repent.  to get ready for the better season, which in usa is celebrated and ends on one day - christmas day.  expecting a bit much out of ONE day, aren't you?
in other countries, it lasts 12 days STARTING on christmas day, followed by 2 months or more of partying for mardi gras (in the panhandle two months as well) ending ash wednesday.  january and february are almost solid partying, resting, relaxation.  i think our country would love that, why don't we have it?

Repenting for 2013, what did you DOOOOO that you shouldn't have done.  what should you have done that you didn't do?  what are you working on - especially personally and how is that going?  what DO you do that isssss christlike?  can you stop for seven weeks doing something that you know you shouldn't be doing?  if you can stop for seven weeks, can't you just stop permanently?  and what kind of heroics have you done?  that matters too.  for every evil thing you do, it takes TEN equally GOOD things to make up for that one evil thing.

Food for Thought..

"If you suffer it is because of you.
If you feel blissful, it is because of you.
Nobody else is responsible - only you and you alone.
You are your hell and your heaven too."

OSHO

"i loved her not for the way she danced with my angels, but for the way the sound of her name could silence my demons"

so cool when you get it right like that and it works out.  others get that from religion, keep pictures of christ everywhere as a reminder...."seek the face of the lord ... "  Psalm 24

"Seek the Lord and his strength;  Seek his Face continually."  Psalm 105:4

This is great! I\' m so glad I spotted this journal! It took me many years to understand things like \"you create your own reality\" \"you attract what you think about\" etc. and realize I had some control over my own life and feelings. Always good to recognize we have some choice. thanks.

It is true that we make our own destiny. I\'m working on how to control my own. At least I have Geo by my side to help me find my way.

To me, Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. Period. The gift giving and beautiful trees and decorations are awesome. I think the whole season HAS turned into one big party, and I don\'t believe that is the meaning of the Holy Day.

I agree that we should be living as givers and take control of our own lives, every day. Be thankful for what we have, and share. I believe that we should help our fellow man, and do things such as you do and rescue God\'s little furbabies that are abused!!!

I find it particularly annoying that they are into making the bucks starting with Christmas sales commercials on Halloween, for Pete\'s sake. How about they let us get through Thanksgiving before they bombard us with how much money they can get out of us.

Yes! We need to re-evaluate ourselves each year, and try our best to make the best out of the year to come.

Thank God he sent His son. That was the ultimate sacrifice. And He did it for us. The least we can do, is try to love one another.
