PHOTO/MEME: $15 per hour minimum wage in Los Angeles//

Los Angeles now has a $15 per hour minimum wage, just like Santa Barbara and Seattle.  Getting closer to the $22 per hour that it should be.  Would be nice if this went NATIONAL!

wasting lots of time today accidentally finding people on facebook who i didn't expect to find.  should have known.  one connected to the other and the other - that sixx degrees thing ...  shocking to see though, as totally unexpected!    the world is way too small.  lol.  its amazing how many are not in touch with each other at all through the years, even though they live within 20 minutes of each other.  everyone has teenage kids or older by now and its like.  omg!  so that is what i have missed seeing (their child, now adult.  lol.)  you hear that like a zillion times.  wow!   its like a big black hole, while one's kids grow older and then they try to re-ground or re-group, but its generally way too late or even more accurately, never should have been to begin with, you figure, if there is no contact for over three years, its a done deal.   (or they are trying to fill in things because of death and need to see/hear anything familiar.  the liars amaze me the most, because they have forgotten their lies after a number of years and the truth is sitting there instead.  that isn't funny, its pathetic).  this is why reunions spread over many years is so dumb, if you wanted to see/know that other person, you would have.  a newsletter i can see, maybe, anything else i really can't see doing at all.

kind of monotonous, all those photos.  why do people do that?  can't you post some wisdom as well?  anything?  its like people who read the bible, but don't know the point of the bible is to have the bible as a guide book that is full of wisdom.  instead, they think its a bunch of cute stories, meaning the old testament.  are you serious?  it FLOORS me when people talk like that.  repulsive actually.  what is their guide book then?  super creepy.    weird so many are connected to another somehow.   creepy actually, there is no privacy in life.   but it puts you to sleep seeing all that after a while.  i keep hearing the guy from the tiki bar at home, he would say, it never stops you know, it just keeps going.  meaning people have kids, then their kids have kids, then their kids kids have kids...he was a former hippi who was against allll of that.  lots of cool guys at the tiki bar.  stayed like that for a few years and then people find out, people hang out there and its ruined and everyone who was there originally, disperses.  lol.

nice and warm lately.  saw carolyn at her house.  she left me a note in my box about the grey tiger cat.   i have been trying to give him his last dose of medication and can't find him the passed two mornings (and the other one is still missing - even went to the pound looking for her.  i hate that place.  it is NOT tnr and no kill even though the press keeps saying it has the money to do that now.  hmmmm, then why isn't it?)    c says she will order comfortis from maak.com.  hope she does.  her house is right on the intracoastal, such a great view.  she says she averages $15 per hour working lunches at a chain restaurant, but its still not enough.  in interior design at the mall, the pay was so low because of commission that she couldn't get by at all.  so much for the recession recovering - and her degree is in interior design, but of no use.

the latest two interview people didn't show up at all.  huge problem.  went out for italian with j.  not into it though.  for some reason the food tasted different.  maybe they have a different chef.  that matters.  same restaurant, and recipe, but it will all be different.  back to square one finding places, its always like that.  can always rely on things changing, dying, altering.  no stopping it.

hair feels great cut.  l says its a shag, even though its long.  at least that is what the name is at the minute.  lol.  really glad i work where i work when its quiet and the view is nice.  i appreciate it again and remember why i chose to be here.  but when its busy during the week, and crowded and alllll the drama, it is ANNOYING to be here.  and then i forget why i chose this at all.  i normally put out a lot of jokes in everyone's boxes, but because of all the changes i haven't and it actually makes a difference.  the humor lightens things up a lot.  so i'll have to find something neutral to send out that is funny.

headed to the marina, hope i don't get a burn.
