most of the coastline will be wiped out/flooded and into the ocean, especially the west coast of the united statesand all ofsouth florida. some of north florida is okay but not all of it. both sides of the mississippi are wiped out. all of louisiana and the coast line of texas. wth?

beautiful day today. eating mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. can't find the marshmellows. we had fish this year. (healthier every year. lol.) not big on celebrating this one anyway, but not so extreme that i go shopping either. the marina was sooooo quiet. makes me remember why we have been around here for so long. the only drama used to be jf and he is gone now a few years. you don't realize what a relief that can be until it happens. evil people always shock me on a look back and its like, amazing we are even alive after being around something like that. the stress alone. his co-hort is ill at the minute, but still doing the same kind of underhanded stuff. from what i hear they seem to think that is normal.
did animal things and took the dogs for walks. need to fence the yard there. i looked it up and they need 30 minutes of running around per day. gave all of them pronyl which is generic front line. hope it works. i think k is right and its the carpeting that has to go.
almost bought pumpkin cream pie by edwards but held back. yay for me. beautiful out and sunny all day around 80 degrees, its night now, 53 degrees outside now so kind of brusque. a very un-holiday this year. nothing going on at all. so many not even cooking. i think that is mostly a health thing now. this is florida, we don't really do the tradition thing much here. tradition is more like go to the beach, go fishing, go camping, go surfing and in north florida, go to the car shows.
finally saw some of jn's wedding photos (3 years later), wish i'd get on it more. his mother died that same year of cancer. another surprise. i think she was 49. so another one. grrrrr. no idea why i didn't get to this sooner. he tried to work up this way as a welder and it didn't work out at all. there is another guy around here who had been one of the student renters several years ago, i didn't recognize him until i saw his handwriting. way too small a world. i'm not good with that.i like being anonymous as much as possible. someone saw me and js in target and i didn't see them, and that alone freaks me out. lol.probably from being stalked by the whackos.
finally got the kittens to drink formula. yay. they didn't take to it in the beginning and only wanted dry food for the first ten days. i want them to fatten up. so hopefully they will keep eating. will try baby cereal with the moist food next. usually kittens take to formula right away. the manx scratched her eye as well. wish they would put in the cat door over there. the dogs really like the catsso far. yay!

thanks annie. i said to one of the guys that we had fish this year and he was horrified. he is from maine. so i figured oh you have all the traditional stuff, because that has been slowly going out of style since the 70\'s when they discovered all of those heavy foods are reallllly bad for you. he says no. so why the surprise on the fish thing. can never figure this guy out at all. i still have two dinners to go to so one of them may be traditional. we aren\'t the traditional type, though who is nowadays.
i saw rn briefly and she said the turkey i got them came out great. hmmmm she switches back and forth with that. when i gave it to her, she said she wanted roast chicken instead and i\'m thinking, that is how you say thank you. wtf? i didn\'t have time to really stop at all, or i would have sat in and snacked. busy all day. what else is new.
I am terrible at being healthy, especially around the holidays. I want my comfort food! If I could get into the habit of exercising again, then it wouldn\'t be so bad. Anyway, good for you for resisting the pie! Hope you have a good weekend! *HUGS*
yeah, resisted for a while and then spent saturday, eating mashed potatoes with sourcream and mashed potatoes with wine cheddar (which is fabulous by the way. lol.)
