PHOTO: Man asleep with seven cats on him//general up date, morris has anemia
Man asleep with his seven cats asleep on him! lol.
beautiful animals. they look like litter mates except for the orange one.
so the whacko down the road was up again in a truck this time, from 3:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., i thought it was from next door, his dog was barking and then the dog behind him started barking, but it wasn't. i guess it was to the side of him. its getting ridiculous. i don't know where she comes from originally, but its totally out of control. i hope the woman who is paying her $500 to harrass people, is also paying her for each stunt she pulls. otherwise, she is just someone else's puppet. weird that she is doing any of it at all. c says its either she want deportation, so she gets a free plane ticket back to guatamala, or she is DYING for attention. pathetic.
rn is dealing with another kittie with anemia, they lose their balance, etc, and don't gain weight even if they eat. i have only seen that with kittens and its more listless from it. the real kind of anemia that humans get as well, i haven't seen. have to look it up in the cornell book of cats. its already seen a vet. wth? i've been doing rescue for 12 years, and there is always something i haven't seen. amazing how much we don't know. the more you go to school, the more you discover how much you don't know.
reminds me of the seal point, checked out by a vet. everything is fine. but it won't eat, or eats too little. do people realize this happens when they dump their animals? could also be if they don't let people know what kind of FOOD they were feeding the animal, it can go into renal failure, if it was on one kind of food for many years. forget what this is called. it should be on the questionnaire when they dump their animal, or their parent's animal. very sad, because its an easy thing to fix, if the person abandoning the animal would let others know or include the food and other info in the paperwork. people who are trying to save it were AWARE of what to buy, they would.
boring day. beautiful weather. but way too busy to enjoy it. grrrr. if it were further south, it would be a swimming day. up here its too chilly for that. d insists the other timeshare has a super warm pool and its swimmable most of the year, like 90 degrees. that would be so great. d brought over pizza again. he is a prince. lol. he cracks me up. when he was dating his girlfriend he leased a new car. nice. as soon as the economy went bad, most people dumped their leased cars and now there are all these older japanese cars all over the place. reality. d and the girl are on the outs. she has the newer car, but he is driving something from 1999. lol. and he is the one that makes money, i don't think she works. from what i remember she is a layed off teacher.
ran into k at the other house as i ran around trying to clean up after the kittens. saw rn briefly to drop off litter and find out about using geritol for anemia, she says its full of b vitamins. i know absolutely nothing about anemia. i gave it nutrical. but should there be an antibiotic? like what is causing it, if its not fleas? she says animals (including humans) can be born with these things. always something.
still waiting for appointments for the animals. really needs to be handled. trying to convince the boys to return to school. is this a new thing? went through the same thing back when b was in college. but at least he finished (only the aa portion, but around here its all you need for most jobs, if he wants to move to a bigger city than he will need something tech or a masters. best of luck. easier and faster to just get anything tech). i can almost hear the people around me cringe because you don't go to school for speed you go to learn and nothing else.
its about 59 degrees outside right now. brrrr. supposed to go look at a property with 20 acres. don't see the point if tm isn't going to do feeds out there. he is back to thinking he will die soon, because his entire family dies in their 50's of heart attacks; and he turned 50 last year. 50 is old. no way around that one. lol.

Rescuing and caring for those kitties is a job that never ends. But its good work I think. Caring for animals who most would not. My feral colony is doing good. I feed them extra to fatten them up for winter here which is Rain.
59 degrees both is brrrr for your area. Here we are having a wind and rains storm. Would love to live on 20 acres in the woods. You take care hon. and hugs and greenies
