PHOTO/JOKE first dates and shotgun//turned the HEAT on, its pouring rain outside!

JOKE:  First dates are a big deal for the whole family

This is so true...

i'm in a bad mood, for ONE REASON, guess who WOKE ME UP AGAIN LAST NIGHT.  i can't take much more of this.  i can't get a full night of sleep because that idiot woman keeps walking down the main road and waking up the neighborhood.  wth?!

its pouring rain and been pouring rain almost all day.  since i have become more and more green, this is also rinse cycle for whatever clothes or bedding i have outside, so it doesn't bother me as much.  kind of like "second rinse" and it does a wonderful job and its all natural.  lol.  i'm also using palmolive for collars, instead of stain stick and it works just as well or better.  and i'm doing the clothing thing as my grandmother used to complain we all should, wear something and wash them in the sink a few at a time and you don't need a zillion clothes then and its relaxing to do it this way.  it actually is.  too bad she isn't alive to see this.  she would roll her eyes and watch everyone wrestling with these huge loads of laundry and she would say, why do you make life so complicated and difficult for yourself.  she is right.  reminds me also of the woman who wrote the moffat series of books, it was simple to live back then and EASIER in so many ways than now.  elinor estes.   she was actually writing about new haven, ct in the early 1900's where she grew up as a child and worked as a librarian as an adult.  great reads.  allll of those books are.  there is so much more there than the story.    people would walk around with their knitting or crocheting or something in a basket, even kids.  they didn't HAVE to, but the monotony of the activity has a calming effect, its productive, it strengthens hand muscles and its also a weapon - no pills or gym membership needed.  its a better life ... time to join tightwad gazette on line if that author is still alive or her company still has all that stuff.  she used to have a newsletter and put out a couple of books, advocating all the same stuff, BEFORE being green was "in".

the house is around 80 without the a/c on which is exactly what i like.   i don't even use the part of the house with the most a/c and neither do the animals.  lol.  but a/c also takes out a lot of humidity and i guess that matters.  i have been enjoying the garden room and sleeping fabulous.  i really need/prefer fresh air.  the only other people who are the same as me are surfers.

i actually have the HEAT ON full blast, because the cold rain goes right to my bones.  the marina is mostly empty.  its going to be ruined over there soon.  all things change.  they are building condos on the other side of the canal.  they were supposed to do this ten years ago.  then the economy tanked so they didn't.  they have already cleared a lot of the trees for it (they do this by BURNING it out) and it looks awful and more civilization around here will look even more awful.  i actually miss the trees already.  i didn't even like when they added a fence, it used to be more natural looking.  i watched part of this happen to south florida and now i'm watching it happen to northeast florida and its sickening.

j bought chicken for grilling, but i doubt we will because of the rain.  was on an alumni site today and discovered questions and replies to things i wrote in 2011.  too bad i'm not better at all that.  i replied now.  but have no idea how to do that directly anyway.  so 3 years later, i'm right on it.  lol.  my aunt's are just as bad, some of them haven't touched any of that since 2012 not even for photos.  i think it was a novelty and now its just, okay if i look at all these photos, what drama do i also have to endure.  with e mail, all you have to do is respond to the photo sent with.  love it.  beautiful.  lol.  and you are done.  but i like facebook for the politics.

was perusing through and also noticed a guy who defended pedophiles when a pedophile ring was being busted in a different county 45 minutes south of where this guy used to be a cop -- this guy actually physically, showed up out of nowhere (or was at the pedophile ring house,  to begin with, it was a pedophile bust and a huge sting up north) stood in the way so others couldn't shoot the adults that were there (very strange unless he is a pedophile himself, and no he wasn't on this case).   this same guy is running for mayor.  omg!  reminds me of the book the dead zone by stephen king, where the candidate for president, holds up a baby as a shield from possible bullets.  its sick.  totally sick, but there it is.  what a world.  and in that tiny town that he is from or living in, the slang name for that town was "stupid town".    my boyfriend back then thought it meant the entire town was in special ed, (which isn't too bright a thought all by itself), but the town isn't too swift, if you go to prison and get out and want to raise a family and live almost normal,  you can move to this town and no one will care about your past;    if you are extremely stupid, you can live in this town and be amongst your own mindset -- they claimed the town was divided between these two extremes of people - criminals of various sorts, and idiots.  lol.    the police themselves would be considered criminals today and the only crime they would prosecute there was theft.  that kind of town.    this guy will get away with running for office in this type of town, even if he has mud all over his backround.  what amazes me the most is why wasn't he incarcerated for interfering in such a big bust, in a town far away from his own, that doesn't involve him?  they should have just shot right through him when he got in the way.   what was he doing there.  what did they do, sentence him and then suspend the entire sentence?  they do that sometimes.  amazing.   he was also one of the former special ed boys and so was his father, before his father got a g.e.d. and became a cop.  from meter maid to cop.   whole other world back then.  amazing.   so you look at the pictures and you know the truth and it makes you want to vomit.    Plato said, if you don't get involved in politics you will be governed by your inferiors.  this is a classic example.

started out just wanting to post the photo/joke. a went out on a date. that is what prompted it. always surprises.

my electric bill is $30 higher than last year. 10 down and 20 up. the only difference, is two degrees, down was at 82 last year, and up was at 78 last year, and now its 76. its probably better to be more green and go somewhere in between? i\'m still new to this. surprised though.

LOL. First dates are a big deal for the whole family.

I hope someone can do something about your crazy neighbor so you can get some sleep. Why aren\'t the police doing anything about this?

Omg, I hope you are home alone when you have the heat full blast at 80 degrees! Have you ever tried an electric blanket if you are not alone? I would probably make a big difference on your electric bill.

Wishing you a great and VERY WARM week. :-)
