HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!!
still sick and congested. i took a half teaspoon of phenergan with codeine. the codeine breaks it up because it wasn't going by itself -- so its starting to go, but it knocks me out and puts me in an even grouchier mood. lol. i get this '... and i will never give a fuck', kind of attitude. lol. drinking warm coffee and had the last of the corn chowder, which actually isn't a good idea with this, but i'm out of chicken soup over here. also had some 3 bean salad cold and pop corn, both of which i eat allllll the time anyway. i'm extremely bored. j and the kids are on the boat on the canal finally. it wasn't used much this year. i will hop down to the marina shortly, at least for a little while - couldn't do much yesterday when i tried to. everything hurts, which i guess means its flu rather than a cold?
was out on the lounge on the deck, in the sun for a little bit as well. sunshine and salt air are always very healing. the weather is ideal for getting work done, hope i get better soon. keep finding more to get done, every time i get something else done. unreal. that is the biggest difference between a house and a condo. a house keeps you working for it alllll the time, it owns you. a condo, you hang your hat, pay your fee and everything is done without you. just a place to sleep and enjoy, except privacy is missing.

b went to tallahassee for christmas dinner on christmas eve, he said n\'s cousin hired a singer-friend to serenade them - there is like 20 of them at the table. hmmmm. very loud and boisterous singer. his voice really carries and booms and all that. hmmmm. lol. better take another look when i\'m not sick and grouchy and feeling like this, though a LOT of people love it when i get like this. lmao. many verses of the same song too! lol.
i just think that at a dinner table is the wrong place for that. don\'t you have a living room with a piano, love that, though isn\'t it best when its everyone singing, unless its a performance somewhere? group singing is fun, i can see that. or maybe a concert hall at church? or even the local knights of columbus or something. i have to re-read this later.
I have a cold/flu myself, 38. How freakin frustrating, right??? I have no fever! Do you? That\'s a sign that it might be the flu vs.cold! Also, if you\'re coughing the phlegm is green or brown, you need an antibiotic, so hit the doctor, ok? OK! Nurse Ratchet here!!
Nice to hear about the Marina. Sure do miss my boating days in Fla. Lots of my friends had money and we spent a lot of time fishing out there. Man, those were the days! xo
It does sound like the flu. A cold itself wouldn\'t make you so sick. Sorry you were hit with this right on Christmas. As for privacy, I have none, living as I do in a building full of (sometimes nosy) seniors and management who knows when and if you SNEEZE. But it\'s a trade-off. Never feel lonely and all maintenance is done for me.
