very rushed day and running behind. went to moe's with js and a, mostly as a meal to go. i got the salad with the pastry shell and chicken. moe's is spanish food and has the best salad anywhere. i had to rush it because i had to meet with the woman who adopted the siamese kittens (she only wanted one, so now its complicated). and i had to do payroll.
hope it works out. she called me a day early to bring over the two kittens and i couldn't, i was at work. whatever. there is a saga attached to that, but they appear to be good adopters and have pets, one of them is from us 3 years ago.
amazing i didn't remember the rest of it until jm said something. lol. she is a retiring nurse and he used to be a lifeguard and does something else now. he says a shark will only go after a human if there is a pool of fish and that they will bite a human and then go away because they prefer fish. i never heard that before?
more drama that boblittle man came by again. calmer. someone says, its when he drinks that he is whacko. that is all i need. grrrr. i will never understand WHY he would expect me to know who he is. maybe he is from a very small town? amazing.
there was a stranded car in front of our house since monday. the police said they won't tow as he parked it on the lawn of the estate across the lane, unless the owner of the estate (who only lives here in the winter) requests it. its weird because cars can't stay parked on the street more than 3 days. w thought it was a stolen car because he googled the plate and it didn't match the car. hmmmm? the man finally bicycled over to get his car. he was meeting aaa from his aunt. he said he is out of work for two months, his father is in prison and his mother lives elsewhere. its amazing how many people have troubles. he lives with his girlfriend locally but is in trouble there as well because he has no money and no unemployment has come in yet. wth? if its true, its very sad, but around here people lie a lot so you can never really tell about anything. i let him know who is hiring in the area, he says he does electrical work for 4 years and seemed to think its a long time, so my guess is, he's around 24. couldn't tell from a distance.
i told him obama recommends, going back to school, a grant covers 4 classes for free and the loan is for another car or housing or both....take his word for it, there is no work. OR move to houston. 200 percent MORE employment in houston. wow. and its the same climate as here, just opposite side of the gulf from florida.
headed to the marina late. more to do there as well. can't even think straight. payroll was a total headache. grrr. she blames the computer for vaca pay and herself for the rest of it. they added on his five hours of training money and then SUBTRACTED five hours from his regular pay. wth? not thrilled at the minute. a is back. glad she is back. lots of school stuff going on and lots of windy, rainy weather.

I hope you can find owners for those kitties... I love cats, but Geo will only let us have one at a time. I can barely take care of Angela as it is, and she\'s an understanding kitty. If I\'m sick and can\'t clean the litter box for a day, she\'s okay with that.
we used to adopt out 100 kittens per year and a few cats. it stayed like that for about 7 years, and always followed a pattern. in the past 3 years it is much slower. i think we adopt out half that number lately, and a LOT of the customers want the cats over six months and fixed. i think they want the older ones because of the economy and bother of having to fix kittens and train kittens, even though they are cute and so much easier than dogs.
its also the economy for the lower number of adoptions. i keep hoping, its also because of more rescue groups and rescue people doing adoptions, except everyone claims their are less adoptions. on the other hand a lot of rescuers are doing that new thing and taking a pregnant mom and then keeping alllll the babies and mother and getting all of them fixed. their own cat family, mommy cat, baby cat, that kind of thing. i\'ve become exhausted from adoption anyway and see why people burn out.
i also see why so many prefer to just open a sanctuary on an acre or more of land with a barn or shed or trailer; feed and collect donations, as its the dealing with the public (customer service) that is the exhausting part. i used to enjoy the public, as i deal with people all the time anyway, but i think i\'m getting too old for it, or just need a year off of doing nothing but hanging at the beach; or i have hit my nine year limit -- i seem to stay at each job/profession for nine years and then move onto something else that interests me. could be that. lol.
so jm says to me, this is the one who had you return to treat the animal and instead they were just for something more. she was wearing a moomoo i think they call it. they are the generation where people practiced swinging.
its none of my business...don\'t need to know ANYTHING about anyone\'s sex life. so jm says, AND she said to YOU that she never did this before as in the swinging part...i only vaguely recall this because its soooooo screwed up. jm used to be a cop...for him, its all a hoot, to me, its like why put me in the middle of any of this. some people were busted over there, because of minors, and that didn\'t involve them, it was much much worse. figures jm would recall it. i knew the address seemed VERY familiar and i figured its because we looked at houses over there. i actually like that area. hmmmm not anymore, not right now. no thanks.
