It is POURING RAIN out at the minute.  it was balmy and sunny this morning and then it got windy....hours later all this rain.  its nice outside though, 65 degrees right now and its night.

i am super bored.  doing the go right home thing until my cholesterol is down to where it should be is really tough but too scared to not listen.  lol.  whatever bug i thought i was getting yesterday, seems to have lessened.  lets see if i'm exhausted later tonight.  it could also be the stress and "healing" from the car accident.  all those blows to the head, really take its toll with memory.  hope i don't get an aneurysm from it and die.  i have a step-cousin who died of one of those when he was 18 a few decades ago, was it from playing football or from actual blows to the head.  ditto with boxers.  how do they survive that, but with a child/teen its way worse and i guess an old person, not good either.  i'm old.  lol.

i have evaluations to do for work, (those actually help a lot, put things in perspective ....)  and i'm still reading durant's history book.  slow read, but excellent.  there is a new study that there is physical changes to the brain from reading, but they don't know if it lasts.  we become what we read.  good to know.  which means we should also read mostly positive or enlightening things if we can and as always avoid all of those who are toxic in any way.  how you make others FEEL says everything about YOU.

the kitty with the perpetual runny nose but is otherwise healthy, is scheduled to be fixed.  makes me nervous.  they claim she has luminitis.  i didn't look it up yet.  its not catching and takes one year to go away and many animals have this.  i've done rescue large scale as a hobby for over ten years now, not including feeding strays life-long before this, and have never heard of it.  finally talked to br who is back, but no mention of the animals, just that the guy who installed the fence and gate put it up backwards.  the same guy, did the same thing with the yard fence and gate last year.  wth?  i told him he has to CALL the animals AND put the food out, just like i was doing.  its been five months since he was around.  the babysat rabbit is also doing well, have a feeling she is happier because the cage she is in is 3 times the size of the one she came from.  i can't let her out though because i'm allergic.  she seems pretty content.  have to remember to pick her up carrots and all that as treats, or at least bread, crackers and timothy hay.  may have some of that at the house up north.

called around about cars and talked to some wholesalers and more research to do on that.  it used to be fun getting different cars, now its just annoying.  no wonder so many people keep cars for ten years or more.  s kept her mercedes for over 20 years, she said there was never anything really wrong with it, so why get something else.  i agree.  there is a two seater mercedes listed within my price range as well and not that old.  would have to ask my mechanic's opinion of that first.  everyone will call that a "mid-life crisas car."   lol.

need to head to the marina to feed s's colony.  she is another one, gone for almost a year now from back injuries from a car wreck.  also want to see what a is doing, don't know where they go.  a lot of people were at the beach today, beautiful weather until the rain started.

Great quote!

I hope all your fur babies are doing well. I so agree, the way you make others feel says everything about you.

I am sooo over getting different cars. It use to mean alot to me to have one every year. I have a 2 seater BMW that I got from my hubby when my lease was up on the Lexis. It is a 2002 with only 42,000 miles and it\'s 2014. The guy at the BMW place told me I shouldn\'t git rid of it because it was a very popular style.

But it cost a fortune to even have the oil changed! And now I think I need breaks. I will call tomorrow and ask how much. I don\'t think I need breaks but the light on the dash seems to think that. I cannot tell the difference at all! But they don\'t want to give me an inspection sticker because of that. I tried to tell them that the breaks were working the same way the last time they gave me a sticker! I need to figure this out.

Wishing you a great week!

could be the sensor isn\'t working properly. there is a way to disconnect the sensors as well (don\'t know how to do this myself though).

i have grown to love older cars of the 2000\'s. never thought i\'d be an \"antique\" car person, but i am. i am also against all the government monitoring devices that they put into alllll the cars since 2004, so that much more of a reason to love the \"antiques\". i also can\'t tell the difference with the new styles, though i\'m sure there is a difference and if i were younger i would notice.

i never was a buy/lease a different car each year person. if its not broke, what is the problem. japanese cars work perfectly to 300,000 miles, so its silly to change. i used to think, when the car is age 10 switch it then, and i did that with two mazdas around age 8 i think on both of them (no reason, and they sold right away, nothing mechanically wrong with them at all!)

my big plan before the accident was to keep this one to 400,000 if i could, as they have a radio show for cars like that every year and we also have the antique car shows that are big in north florida. so living around here could be a reason for the change of heart as well. have no idea.

i know what 2 seater you are talking about. that is a sweet car. do you get it fixed at the dealer? sometimes there are local places that specialize in foreign cars and fix them for half the price of a dealer. how did you show real estate with a 2 seater? lol.
