PHOTO chihuahua pot pies for sale in north carolina!!!//br's sister is still sick//tna was by//rainy

lots of difficulty posting this.  found it by accident.

am at the house up north and headed for the marina with a.  lots of drama at work.  another area manager is gone.  they don't last long in that position.  we have a new one, don't expect much.  the former one was in the hospital.  i told her, its the job.  she had the job for two months and was hospitalized.  they make them cover too large an area and its physically IMPOSSIBLE to do what they ask them to do.  i've worked on the road.  you can't do what they are requesting.  its too many counties in too small an amount of time.  our area managers last about two years max.  and two-plus years ago, we had three in a row that lasted about one month each.  (each one hospitalized.  here we are again.  grrrr.)  they start out all thrilled thinking they can do it, because they have never been on the road before and then they all start wiping out within about two weeks, telling themselves they will adapt.  they won't.  its physically impossible.  what a company!  ten years ago they had THREE PEOPLE covering the same area that they hope ONE PERSON can cover now, and even with three people, those people only lasted three years each.  they are trying to cut costs by doing it this way, and instead PEOPLE are dropping like flies.   don't they care?

they added two other county areas two years ago and our former area manager barely could do it, and he was a former professional athlete.  people like that have stamina and know how to strategize.  now, here we are again.

tna was by today and she is wiping out herself, because the company she works for has been doing the same thing to their employees, trying to get them to do more or the same amount of work with LESS staff.    tna was in the hospital last year because of it.    today, she is barely awake.  i told her when they started their crap of having one person do the job of three people, to get a place near her work to live in and stop commuting on weekdays.  it would give her another fifteen or more hours per week to do other things like sleep, plus the fatigue of driving all that way.  wth?  she says her company is only functioning at 40 percent of what it should be doing, so whoever is left working there (a few hundred instead of a thousand employees) they are just sticking with it.  of the ten locations her company had, they now have TWO left nationwide.  not good.

i joined a bunch more of animal advocate groups.  what else is new.  i need to not go on line too much, it depresses me what goes on out there.  i went to feed the children and the humans are as emaciated and ill as the animals we save, also from no food.  i have a bug up my butt because i was feeding strays where i get gas and i think one of them is a drop off as it seems friendly.  doesn't mean it will go in a carrier for me.  went to br's and fed what is left of his colony as the people next door left early and he called from st. louis remind me to feed for him.  i realized the colony is the only living thing he has left of his wife, besides his step children who he sees twice per year (he only likes one of them).  he really has his hands full because his sister is still ill from her bleeding ulcer.  she can't stand because she lost so much blood, she's in a wheelchair for now, when she is out.  (but still hanging out at casinos with friends and relatives!!)   boy, has he gone through hell and back the passed few years.  his wife, then his mother, then his dog, then his favorite cat from the strays (missing, plus 3 more recently), now his sister... hope she recovers.  i thought she was already okay.  didn't realize a bleeding ulcer is that serious, but it is.

his tiger stripe animal let me pick him up when hungry but not after it ate.  have to remember that when i try to get it in a carrier again this year, it wouldn't go in at all last year.  have to get it fixed at the very least.  his new fence looks fabulous, but there is no broken pieces for the animals to get in.  he keeps complaining that the strays aren't showing up, its probably because they can't get in.  i told him i was going to get a saw and take a piece off.  only half kidding but i'll ask him first.  i don't think he'll mind.  its that or dig under one of the small gaps, also the guy that put the lock on, put it on the outside, instead of on the yard side.  he should have had him re-do it.

then i go on facebook to look at photos, and i went to look at the dancers i know.  they have to remind each other that its important to even acknowledge the soldiers killed recently because their lives are totally on the performance level.  don't think reality gets in there too much, except for illness and who will perform now kind of thing.  omg.  i have been around that my whole life and it surprises me every time i'm back around it again.   its fun to live in a bubble but its not real.

I am not surprised that you have joined more animal advocate groups hon,its your passion,
I am concerned that it might be a bit too much for you at times.
I too would like to see a stop all war. there is too much loss of life and loss of sanity for the ones that make it back. Too great of a sacrifice.

Aren\'t you stretching it a bit thin these days. I think some my time is in store. A shame to hear all this sadness for employees. It goes on everywhere. Over worked and under paid.

i think the problem is state to state certain things are PERMITTED that shouldn\'t be. ditto with country to country. if you go to gopetition.com you can view atrocity going on worldwide. omg! especially the sick stuff against animals. eating meat should be banned COMPLETELY, its the only way to end the misery. it can\'t be \"okay\" to kill one animal and not another. make it easy. no killing at all.

example with whacko laws. they claim its legal in virginia to marry a first cousin even though it causes genetic diseases and deformities.

you don\'t \"know\" if its \"true\" you don\'t know if anything is \"true\" unless its analyzed in a lab. however, if its legal, why wouldn\'t they just say what it is. i know someone who used to do this to dogs all the time, because he started liking it when he was in viet nam. totally SICK. you can\'t tell who is who. he was a court reporter. wore a suit every day. worked in court and there he was. what a weirdo.

actually i do LESS adoptions now than just a couple of years ago, so no. if i sat around doing very little, i\'d feel greedy and lazy. only doing less adoptions because the economy is terrible and people are broke, so looking into land for a sanctuary for them.

its the working five days that\'s the problem, i\'m definitely a four day person. also doing less disabled animals and less bottlefeeds. so definitely no, not it. when my health goes, the hobbies will probably go or minimize as well. and i do pace myself nowadays because of my blood pressure. never did that before actually, but i take a day of rest between things, which is amazing. 5 years ago, i could meet with several people in one day both for adoptions and for work with mortgages, no sweat. amazing how much we tire with age. grrrr.
