forgot to make one for friday, which is now and split up the mess from yesterday when i tried to write on ds. fix it later. its RAINING all day and chilly again. very strange day and week and last week also .... maybe because its tax time? if its raining here i guess you are having a blizzard up north? lol.
love it too! my mother\'s bedroom with her sister looked like this when she was a kid except it had very low eaves because it was upstairs with dormers, which probably sucked in tennessee in the summer and winter unless the insulation was really good.
my father, gave my mother money to have the indentical bedroom done for me when i was a baby at the farm she bought (with my modelling money) \"for me to have\" because my mother went on and on about missing that bedroom. it never occurred to my dad, that she meant missing it for HERSELF, she was 21 at the time and in college. so she does up the bedroom and gets a double bed in there and he is like, why the big bed for a 2 year old baby? and she is like, its for her. so he\'s like and where will she sleep. my mom has a crib in the living room. my father said he had to sit down, he says to her, the money was to make a room for the baby. my mother doesn\'t miss a beat and says to him, she decided it should be for her. lol. i\'m old now, so i see it even more of, can you be more selfish? at one point even the crib was gone from the living room and it was like, okay, now what? i thought i was moving to my dad\'s full time. she has never explained what she expected next. still waiting on an explanation for that one. by today\'s standards she would be in jail for negligence AND stealing (living off my what should have been trust money from my work). she would just say, she needed to get back to school/college to live like she should have been living all along as an ordinary college student at the college dorms. sometimes she would head back to her parent\'s house to live, but not leave a babysitter for me, except for the animals. one time it went on for so long, they assumed my father\'s family had custody finally and good thing they called. wth? my father\'s father (grandfather) would say, then sign over custody. constant battle. never ended really. i think she hated the never endingness of being a mother, but preferred a fatal accident to just signing over custody to the other side (my father\'s side) which makes no sense at all really. though he was an asshole to his first wife and kids, so that could be why. i said this to my dad and he said she didn\'t know about that until later, so who knows.
i think the first time i got beat up by my mother (that i remember) was when i was asleep on that couch. i wasn\'t even two years old yet. she wanted to know WHY i was asleep on the couch. the crib wasn\'t around, she had moved it, and babies generally don\'t have to put themselves to bed. i don\'t remember anything else of it except everyone asking why i had a black eye and bruises and my mother saying i fell. i also don\'t recall her putting the crib back at all, she seemed real pissed off to have to have it there. or would sarcastically say, why don\'t you sleep in YOUR ROOM and see if you can get out of there too. then she\'d say, she doesn\'t use the room anyway. she was really an unfit mother, but no one wanted to face any of that until she started leaving me at the house alone with the animals and gone for days. my father kept giving her chances, along with his own father, because they knew each other from when my mother was a child, but they shouldn\'t have done that. her mother kept saying, this is coming to blows and we knew she would never handle this. (actually BOTH of their daughters ended up as unfit mothers, which is pretty funny since they were raised by a minister dad/step dad). its amazing how rotton people are or can be with kids.
or she\'d say, you know you can STARVE in a room like that, even if it is nice and then she would burst into tears. then she would say, i really don\'t know what is wrong with me. a few years later, after she had already lost custody a couple of times and showed up again, she had two years of college or more and she kept trying to win me over saying she\'s not the same person that she was and she really has changed a lot and all that. (i doubt this. i can\'t remember her ever having her shit completely together. she and her sister b. b just hid it better and dealt with whatever was bothering her with alcohol.) had there not been so many others to compare them to, who actually had their shit together quite well, my reaction to her may have been different. you end up thinking how pathetic they are, even though you don\'t know that word yet and you wish they would just GO AWAY. lol. i always preferred my stepmother from california better than the rest of them...though every adult seemed to have issues attached to them, so you learn early on to make as much of your own life as you can. then you learn there are an even bigger number of kids with issues attached to them because growing is such a hard thing for so many people and its like don\'t you have any manners? she actually KILLED richard, but she never went to jail for it. its ridiculous, same with my father and baby sharon....its sickening, and an even larger number with uncle paul from ohio/connecticut/california, have to be careful how you say that because the \"innocent\" paul (with a girl and a kid in every port, LITERALLY) could end up blamed for paul\'s doings. he was still like that even in 2000 and later if he could be. i think he used all those houses to cover up when he was close to getting caught at some crime. but of course, all with beautiful homes and that is the only thing anyone notices.

I love this too! I would chose a room like this! It\'s got such a cozy, warm feeling about it. Love the color of the drapes! xo
