PHOTO ballerinas - there are 2 kinds of people in the world, u and everybody else//dinner at k's & d
there are 2 kinds of people in the world, you and everyone else
well, the photo should have a ballerina hanging upsidedown, when i go into edit it does, if i copy it over, it does; but i can't get it small on here. grrrr.
typical august day today, got caught behind schoolbus, got caught behind TWO things of construction. nice way to get to work. grrrr.
very out of it today, so took robitussin dm which made me a bit sleepy.
went to dinner at k's. just had salad, desert, chevis regal scotch, white wine and coffee - lemon cake and icecream. i am now at a stage of having HALF drinks. half glass of wine, half of chevis, as amazing as that is, then he serves double ice cream and two slices of cake. what is he thinking.
his new handyperson, fell off the roof (probably drunk, but no proof) and onto rg's windshield. its amazing the glass didn't break through. i'm impressed with the toyota windshield glass. it kind of just stays there. looks like k is going to have a lot of bills. rg's windshield and the med bills of the new guy - he is wearing a neck brace. why was he on the roof? that is what happens when you hire inside instead of using pro-company's so this will be an ongoing saga i guess.
went to db's with the kids and it was very good. they have the best macaroni salad i have had anywhere ever. (love when i find things like that) their's is kind of sweet, somehow. they also had the best steamed vegetables (super fresh) i have ever had anywhere - super large zuccinis. the rest of it was normal - we had prime rib, but nice to know its there. i like to try out certain things at all restaurants, new england clam chowder, chicken parm with spagetti, prime rib, potato pancakes (if they have them) and their salads, wonder if they sell the macaroni salad by the quart, some restaurants do that - that would be great.
they also had both potato pancakes and knishes, as they are from nyc originally. normal prices too, around $3. not bad for two.
went to jacuzzi and a movie and saw Kangaroo Jack, which was good, but not great. and 13 going on 30, which was a lot like the movie big, but the main character is a girl. was still good. its calmer at the jacuzzi place, they have a new assistant and i guess they all get along, very different than the soap opera that was last year.
pruned some limbs and need to have a couple of limbs cut down, the ceiling checked in the sunroom and need exterior white paint with this mildew powder packet for the outside of the house.
tried to watch the movie gi joe at k's and its allllll action and kind of boring, so the new guy at work is getting those two movies back. and perspective a new tv show, which was actually good - he's a schizophrenic detective. kind of reminded me of the show monk or even six feet under, that has a schizo guy in it. this episode is funny because he left his real life girlfriend in college, for a new girlfriend and finally tells his former girlfriend that the girl he left her for isn't real. he has schizophrenia. (but he is still with the fake girlfriend since leaving college, so ten or fifteen years...how does that work? all the emotions would be the same, but what about the rest of it? i'm not good with psychodrama - how does that go?)

LOL! yes as they say truth is stranger than friction! Have a good one! xxxooo
the new guy was really surprised i didn\'t like them and returned them to him. wasn\'t trying to insult at all, and rather not lie. if it was km, she LIES and says its great, no matter what it is. i hate when people do that though. she should sell cars or run for political office. lol.
I also watch that show! I love it. I love learning about all the different ways a brain can work that\'s not \"normal.\" It\'s amazing what a brain can do!
