And to put things in perspective... ...one of my third graders is facing a life-threatening medical emergency this week. From the current reports I'm not sure he's going to make it. Awful feeling.

That\'s just horrible that a kid has to face that. I hope he is able to pull through.

no news. truly a case of no news is good news. His classmates recorded a song for him on Tuesday, e-mailed it to his parents.
