Perplexed they found a lump

I guess I have diverticulose .
 While in the hospital with this extreme pelvic pain .  The ct scan found something on my liver. So they give me a mri now theres Something on my breast and something on my lung and something under my arm pit. Before they even biopsy anything . They have the Oncologist calling me for an appointment for treatment.
None of this has been sliced onto a piece of glass to test . No doctor has told me I have the big C but I'm making appointments to be treated for what. My appointment is at the end of the week for a biopsy. This makes no sense . So some nurse at an appointment desk is stating I have cancer before a lab confirms it.
How rude is this ?
