Perm A/Fib
Hi Memebers,
At the moment I am am on an all time low , I have had perm A/Fib now for about 9 years as a result of a failed Maze treatment while having my Aorta valve replaced 10 years ago .
I usually just live with it and to be honest I had got used to my odd missed beats and the odd bit of mild A/fib going on in my restless heart .
I am taking 190 Betaloc daily pluse Frusemide 40mg daily , Terrazosin , Warfarin ( Which I self test and monitor with my own Coagucheck) I generally have coped with my perm A/Fib over the years but lately I have had a few stronger epeisodes and I have not had a glass of wine for some time .
Last night I went to bed with strong A/fib and the only way I could get to sleep and stop the situation was to take 3 mg of Clonazepam and when I woke at 6.30am I was back to normal perm A/Fib , but it has left me feeling very depressed and almost suicidal .
I keep myself fit and active with Golf , walking and fishing plus working around our home but the episode last night has blown me away to the point where I have had a guts full of it all .
I have booked in to see my GP in the morning and see what suggestions she can come up with , I will certainly need some more Clonazepam as that is the only thing that gives me any relief.
Regards to you all and a Happy New Year ..
