Performed as a Background Actor
or "extra" in the Owen Wilson/Jennifer Aniston romantic comedy Marley and Me, due out in December, and it was a blast! Getting up at 5:30 am to make it down to Fort Lauderdale and be in the holding area by 7 was a bit exhausting, and the hours were long and tedious, but still, filmmaking is a fascinating process and it was an honor and a pleasure to be a part of this big Hollywood production. Money was nowhere near what the principals or even the crew members were making, but it was...something! I'll be clearly in the background of several scenes where Owen is doing his dialogue, copying papers, walking by the office with files in hand and such. Bumped into Owen (literally, by accident) in one scene where he walked to his cubicle. I apologized, and he counter-apologized, saying that he was in his own "zone". What a fun guy--reminds me of...ME!!! He too got his heart broken recently, due to his being dumped by Kate Hudson. My heart broke when my brother died. So he and I are ironically in the same place, of loss...and rebound. Anyway, it was a fun experience and I met a lot of wonderful people from various backgrounds and personalities and reasons for doing this kind of work. Look forward to doing it again! Hope y'all are well.

Wow!!!! That\'s awesome!!!! Can\'t wait to see it now, for two reasons. I am thrilled they are making a movie about that book, have you read it? It\'s wonderful!!!! Maybe you\'d have to be a dog owner but it is one of the most entertaining books I\'ve read in forever! I hope the movie is as good and congrats on your walkon part! How exciting. Love to hear more. Lynn
Haven\'t read the book, but I\'d like to. The movie\'s due out December 25 \'08. Heard the director laugh at the end of several takes, so I can only assume the movie is coming together nicely LOL!
