"People talk behind your back for 3 reasons:
when they can't reach your level,
when they don't have what you have,
when they try to copy your lifestyle but can't"
Today, is Thursday, its 8:12 p.m. It says October 22 on the profile, but on here it says Friday on here. Yesterday was Back to the future day from Back to the Future 2. October 21, 2015. lol. can't believe i'm alive for it. from what i've seen the only "prediction" that was right in the movie was flat screened television being all over the place inside and outside - (i don't really like those though. inside is okay but outside its too much, don't like the new blue strobes on police cars or the new headlights either).
had a super busy week. went to jacuzzi and a movie - finally. way overdue. having the flu for two weeks seems to have screwed up a lot of things. saw galaxy quest, which was really good. love the part when he tells the teenager who he told all the star trek stuff is fake and get a grip, he calls him for help and the teen is like, look i know its fake, i get it and tim allen says, no, its all real. and the kid is like, YES! i knew it, i knew it and he's jumping around. lmao. trekkies. also saw the secret life of walter mitty (2013) with ben stillar, also good - better than the first one done in 1947 - The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Both films loosely based on the short story of the same name by James Thurber. The 1947 film starred Danny Kaye as a young daydreaming proof reader (later associate editor) for a magazine publishing firm.
the 2013 variety ben stiller works for life magazine, who ends up travelling to greenland and iceland in search of a photographer who sent him a negative that they can't find. when found, it ends up, its a photograph of ben stillar in front of the Life office building, which ends up being the cover photo of life magazine's final issue and dedicated to the staff at life magazine. "mitty" (i used to have a gray torti himilayan cat named mitty about five years ago) - the main character, was also fired for not finding the negative by some asshole - they never say what the severance package was from life. just wondering.
went out to dinner with j for bourban chicken and cabbage, which i love. went to the mall for a neck massage etc., definitely needed it, i normally go weekly and have been missing those as well. stopped at the hope store, but not too many deals. was mostly there for instant coffee and they had NONE (third time they didn't have any). but they did have breads, cereals, tums for 75% off - the big one, vitamins for $2 and some gourmet soups for 75% off as well. you always find something. really need to motivate one of the churches to do this locally. they have this in jacksonville as well but they call it something else like hog slop or something, also done through churches. its basically bump and dent, they do this in paris, france as well and over there they also have what they call "ugly vegetables" as in it looks different but its the same as the rest of the produce. in paris they offer samples to prove its the same and it too is 75% off because it looks different but its actually the same. love these things, its so fun, like a scavenger hunt almost - you never know what you will find, but there is no returns either. like they had the water purifiers for $8 again, in the store they are $30, so if it doesn't work you are stuck. it all goes to a good cause, the church and whatever they are doing to help people.
went to k's for dinner and saw, a league of their own, which i never watched all the way through. we had mahi mahi, veggies, a realllly good salad for some reason it tasted super fresh to both of us. mai tai's and coffee. and gave k the voortman's jelly cookies i bought the wrong flavor. i wanted raspberry and picked up strawberry. cut the dog's fur by the eyes and did some billing. he said the dark bread from pepperidge farm that i brought over last week, was the best he's had since living in europe (except they generally don't have that one anywhere, so will have to keep an eye open).
went to a book sale, but didn't have enough time to really shop. picked up "something borrowed" by emily giffin. what is "borrowed" is actually her friend's fiance. not good. also started the book anne frank and me. its about time travel, the girl hits her head while visiting the exhibit of anne frank and ends up in paris, france in 1942 and then deported to a concentration camp. it was a winning play in nyc. so far its written juvenile. the main character is a teenager. we'll see. it asks the question, if humans only use 5% of their brain, isn't it possible that the other 95% could be our past and parallel lives. could be. having that much info would be overload, so best we don't remember it, but people definitely have de ja vu of sorts allll the time.
also went to the church sale over here as well finally. amazing how much you miss when you are sick. they upgraded their computer system at the library, which makes their system more inconvenient - you have to sign in, in two different locations and the computer chooses which computer you get. it was better the other way. you signed in twice ONLY if there was a line of people waiting, otherwise you sat where you pleased. they should leave things as they are. if its not broke, don't fix it.
bruiser the cat with two black eyes is still missing!

also got some pruning done, whatever i could reach. there is always so much to do. if i didn\'t have to work today, i\'d have done outdoor painting it was good weather for it.
ran into the woman with orange hair that lives next to g. don\'t know how that happened, i was headed to c\'s garage sale. she was frazzled as always. she c found a house on senient (spelled it wrong) which is next to a cemetary so \"nice and quiet\" lol. she pulled her son out of the local highschool, which makes no sense since the reason she didn\'t want the house that was near her work south of here, was so he could stay in the same high school. wth? so now she is far from work still and he is no longer in the high school he started in. not saying anything yet. she was selling most of his \"baby\" things. hmmmm, he is 16, kind of late to be selling those, don\'t you think? lol. weird watching him grow up. he was 8 when we moved here.
the orange haired woman says she only moved here 15 years ago, i thought she was like g and always lived here. she looks younger lately, or i am getting so old that older people look younger? or some kind of surgery? i\'ll never know because i\'ll never ask. i told her the kitty with black eyes is missing and she was horrified. she has a small colony and her oldest cat came with the house, she had wanted to adopt the cat with the black eyes which is a siamese of some sort. what a perfect home for the cat, her house is beautiful complete with iron gates and stands right on the water. all the houses in that section are on 1/4 acres. it would be nice for it. if you go across the lane the other way the estates start, and those are on one acre each.
c must be freaking. for 8 years she has lived on 1/3 of an acre on the water and now she is moving one block in from the intracoastal in the opposite direction. except for colorado, i don\'t think she ever lived away from the ocean. she actually went to the high school her son was attending over here. what a mess. the red headed woman wanted to know what he got for the house. i said, c only said it was sold at a loss, which is a shame because he bought it as a flip, thinking he would make money on it nine years ago - but nine years ago the prices were still inflated. no one knew all the real estate would plummet as it has. the orange haired was on the way to the picnic at church at 9, they had two times for it this time, very smart, not as crowded. 9 and 11. good music as well, zeppelin and mamas and pappas. what a surprise. more later.
