People
Met some nice people today at my church. They are helping me to find my spiritual gifts. I will be attending more classes then I thought I could at the same time.Through the grace of God I have allowed myself to be open to people and have been received well. This is very frightening for me but at the same time I have moments of confidence and grace. I will be doing a lot of reading for the next year. The reading requirements of my classes cover several books. I have already started one which is not required but was written by Dr. David Jeremiah who is also my pastor here at Shadow Mountain. It is called "GOD in YOU" very powerful and intellectual book on releasing the power of the Holy Spirit in your life. I feel I have already began to make some life long friends. I feel that God has lead me to some great people and in turn they may be lead to me. They are a very blessed and gifted Christian community that does great work through many different ministries. Less than a week after I began applying for membership I was sent an email invitation to come and help a person in our community. We live in a "High Fire Risk Area" and some people are not able to clear their property in order to keep it safe from fire danger. So from 8:00 until noon this next Saturday I will be cutting down over grown areas that are to close to structures for a women who has brain cancer and is going through chemo. This is exactly what I prayed for, to be a servant of God. Not as glamorous as a music ministry but much more rewarding in the blessing it will be for this women. I will get to use my music to evangelize with in the future. For now mostly study and service because I have learned there is no such thing as luck, only preparation meeting opportunity....

You are , a spiritual gift!! Blessed Be
See that\'s what I\'m talking about.
People always ask me, why do you do it, spend so much time helping others, ect....
and I always reply; \"one day I want a place near God to be able to work for him even in Heaven.
In other words, I want to be his servant just as much if not more in my afterlife.
I\'m real happy your meeting new people, new croud, different kinda people, people you are ready to meet, in the lifetime your at, at this time.
Our lives have a few phases, not sure how many, but at least 3 or 4, and you are at the phase that you need to everything in your power to serve the Lord.
This is what happened to me several years ago, without even noticing, I was becoming a servant for God, here on earth.
It has to be the best feeling in the world, don\'t you think?
When I lay in bed at night, I know that I did good, and I sleep in Peace, in the hands of God.
Love & Respect my friend,
Mckenzie One day at the time.
