Peaceful days
I've felt paralyzed lately, but pushing to understand and work despite that feeling. And this week, I have been making some progress. I have to keep remembering that I am caught, for the moment, in a "no-win" situation. I gave in before to keep peace, that only put off the time 'til I was attacked. Looking at the situation from the outside, it would be hard to imagine why I haven't and am not doing more, I understand that. It reminds me of one of those "invisible fences" they use with dogs. If you ever see a dog stopped by one, it looks sort of funny. But having the experience in real life because of anticipated action by someone else is not. I suppose more and more I have to ignore the other person and do my best to act as I would if that factor did not exist-strengthen myself in order to deal with consequences IF they come up. Fear that might not be reality based is too limiting!
