Peace, love and understanding.

Is it so hard to find beauty? To increase ones higher energy we must find beauty, to find it is to find love! Can we see the beauty in others? I believe we can find beauty in others by looking through all the issues, the games and dramas while maintaining a protective shield of love and light around ourselves. Beauty is not elusive, it’s not something that is contrived but rather something that is natural and spontaneous. Beauty is both within and without; it is the essence of love. To forgive without condoning is to find beauty. To stop pointing fingers and blaming others for our lives is to find beauty. To learn self-discipline instead of caving into our addictions is to find beauty. To make an effort to not dump all your problems on others and to stop whining and complaining all the time is to find beauty.
When we stop blaming ourselves for other people’s issues and their negativity we let go of unhappiness and sometimes we have to let go of the people who want us to fix everything for them. Walk away from the people who drain you. You are not responsible for them, and you don’t need to feel guilty for other people’s unhappiness because it simply is not your fault! If we value ourselves we don’t need to put up with other’s who constantly complain. These types of people are playing you, they vie for sympathy to increase their own energy- and drain you of yours! Value yourself today by not listening to the problems of these energy vampires! How do you do this? Find beauty! Look inside, give yourself a mental hug and say I love me, I’m thankful for ______? I’m great at ______? Look outside; see how lovely the green world is around you!
When we value ourselves we don’t hand the proverbial rains of power-over to another person, instead we hold onto our own power by empowering ourselves. If we learn our own self-worth we realize that we are just as good as anybody else which will make our feelings of inadequacy disappear.
Stop pushing my buttons, stop trying to get me to react to you and your negativity! Stop trying to manipulate me! Don’t make me feel angry, or hurt my feelings, stop bringing up the past, or make me feel rejected and that I’m not good enough.
Sound familiar? If you let others push your buttons you are embracing being the victim.
This is another way we hand our rains over to somebody else. People who try to manipulate others are weak! They generally have feelings of inadequacy and incompetence. They are trying to make you feel powerless by gaining power over you! Sometimes these people are miserable and want you to feel miserable too. The button pushers want you to feel pain because their own pain has not been addressed, or they blame you for their own pain. The button pusher may feel inferior, thus for them to feel superior to you they push their demands by what they think of as a right of entitlement. These people are weak and insecure, perhaps underdeveloped and sporting a low self-esteem. They want you to feel guilty and responsible for them. Remember, it only hurts if you let it!
By learning to break free of guilt by not allowing others or yourself to dwell on all the past mistakes we’ve made is to find beauty.
The past is gone, the future is not here yet so all we truly have is a moment, this moment. We can choose how we want to live or die one moment at a time. If we choose to punish ourselves because we can not forgive ourselves for the past mistakes we’ve made we are embracing self-debasement. Do we really want to continuously punish ourselves for the past? It’s time we learn to pay attention to our behavior. To recognize when our feelings of guilt are appropriate and when they are inappropriate. We need to reexamine why we feel guilty for our past. Is your guilt unhealthy because it serves no purpose? Or does your guilt have a rational purpose that will change your inappropriate behavior? We are all here to learn our lessons, when we don’t learn them we repeat the same mistakes over and over again until we do. We must accept the fact that we did something wrong and that we cannot change the past. We can make amends for our mistakes by taking correct action. Apologize when appropriate, admit you made a mistake and ask for forgiveness. Don’t make the same mistake twice and/or stop committing the offence. Avoid situations that make us feel guilty! We are not perfect! We all are learning how to do this life one baby step at a time. When we forget that and dwell on our past mistakes by continuously punishing ourselves over and over again with inappropriate, unhealthy guilt and self-blame we will effectively destroy our self-esteem and think of ourselves as failures. Dwelling on past mistakes feeds negativity.
By learning to not be so hard on yourself and others and to accept the fact that we are not perfect is to find beauty.
Emotional blackmail (the guilt trip/poor me drama) is not a healthy way to persuade somebody or to get what you want. It is psychological manipulation that uses threats and punishment to control the victim’s behavior thus sending energy to the blackmailer. By releasing the need to manipulate other people’s vulnerabilities and insecurities to get what you want is to find beauty.
When we live in the moment, perceive something as beautiful, and flood our senses with joy we open ourselves to giving and receiving love which ultimately replaces our need to vie for attention and energy from others. Our vital life force energy is present in everything and everyone. It is in minerals, plants, animals, and people. Vital life force energy is a feeling of oneness with all that you can see, reach or imagine. It is a connection to an infinite energy source that replenishes us with life sustaining energy and it feels like the best high you ever had- it’s called LOVE! When we change our perspective and have a general appreciation for beauty in everything around us we open the door to happiness, not just for ourselves but for everyone and everything else.
What do you get from beauty? You get peace, love and understanding baby- YAH :o)
