paying restitution

well i settled a small workmans comp case over my hand injury yesterday. so today i was going to put $1000 into my daughter's com account. tried to do it via western union but it wouldn't let me, so i could only put $250 in there. i will just have to do a few more money transfers until i can either get the full amount in her com acct. or i will have to do it at $250 a month until the restitution is paid in full. $1000 is more than what was ordered to be paid but she is just starting out in prison and needs things to be comfortable. nothing fancy, mostly rather simple things. sweats, socks, underwear without holes and an mp3 player so that she can listen to music and hear the tv. she can watch it all she wants but unless she can sit with someone who is also watching or has her own radio or mp3 player she can't hear what is being said.
finally! a year after buying it, i am going to get my printer set up! i am really excited to get it set up and running! silly i know? but now instead of hand writing 15-24pgs of tablet paper i can type them up and print them out! i will also be able to send her pictures and poems too. plus she has been requesting the lyrics to some of her favorite songs. i will be able to print those and send them to her! when i was younger my mother always said, "simple pleasures can give the greatest joy". she was right. having a printer is something that most people do have and it's rather simple but it was one of those things that i just haven't needed until recently! LOL
