Patience is a virtue...BUT I HATE IT!!!

So here I am again, with very little sleep.  I tried to sleep after I got home yesterday from the ER but this wasn't successful so I started working and this continued until about 11:30 a.m.  Finally got to sleep around 1:30 a.m. and had to be again at around 4:30 to take DH to the airport.  I really wish he could have stayed here for the entire week.  I'm rather embarrased to sound this needy!  I tried to explain to him that I am very anxious awaiting the results today but I just couldn't beg him to stay.  Plus, there isn't anything he can do one way or the other.   Now I'm wondering when they are going to call.  Will it be this morning?  Will it be this afternoon?  What will they be able to tell me?  If the eggs are decent, will they be able to tell me if they fertilized?  What stage they are at?  Why did I fail to ask these questions yesterday?! Plus, my mom didn't call me yesterday to see how things went.  She is the only one in my family that knows we are doing IVF.  I know that she has her own busy life but again, I am just surprised that at a minimum she didn't bother to see if I had any problems with the anesthesia, how things went, etc.  I just need to suck it up and get over it.  I keep telling myself it must be all of these hormones that have me so out of whack when it comes to my feelings/emotions.   At least I still have my fur baby K2 to love and comfort me...even if he is in a bit of a growly mood.   Guess I should try to continue to work and get my mind of the wait...
