thanks for reading and making some comments. trust me, i am thankful to have a job, especially one that i love. i just hate how things are done here. now i know its the same everywhere...always bs going on, but it still sucks.  jav, you are right. changes should have been done in the beginning so that it wouldnt disturb anything. we are dealing with children who have enough problems with change. most of them dont have stability at home and come to school seeking such, and then they go around and make changes. these classroom changes will absolutely affect them. the children in the emotionally disturbed class, will flip. it is already a difficult class, but they got used to their teacher. now you put a new one in...it is going to be insane for her. they will be testing her and acting up like you wouldnt believe. this is not a guess...this will happen based on experience. now since my class is much, much, much, lower functioning, there is a good chance they will regress a bit even though they  know me. they are used to alison and her ways. these children expect routine. this switch will throw them off as well. now i am going to do my best to try to mirror what she did with them so that it wont disturb them too badly, but it will be hard for all of us.  anyway, this change goes into affect on monday and i have sooooooooooooooo much to do. i dont know honestly how much i wil be able to get done by monday, but i will do my best and admin will have to deal with that. both for me and for the other teacher alison, who is also completely frazzled and overwhelmed at the moment.  i am going to try to have a good weekend and not let all of this ruin it. even though i am nervous and not happy about this change, as well as feeling completely overwhelmed...i know, that ultimately i will be fine. i just need to keep reminding myself of this! thank you all for being there :-)
