Part--4 ICU Day 4
I am very grateful to be alive, or is this a deep never-ending dream! Did I really have a HA and three stents and a tube put up my arm and up my groin? My mind is racing with these thoughts.
Here comes a nurse again to draw some more blood. Must be real because I feel the pain from her trying 3 times to locate another good vein. Told her; "If you turn me inside-out I will look like a porcupine." Then here comes the next nurse and wants to take my vitals; after she asks if I want a sponge bath! Told her not unless she takes one with me. THAT WASN'T SUCCESSFUL! She left and all I wanted was to be left alone to rest That lasted about 2 hours and i was awaken for lunch. Which I whole-heartedly accepted and ate my chicken breast, green beans, cottage cheees and sherbert.
I rest my eyes for a few more hours, get more vitals and blood taken, then watch a few programs on TV, before dozing off to end the day.
