I've heard tell that sunlight is the best source of vitamin D available, especially when you absorb the sun through the skin which is not normally exposed to the sun. Just a rumor. . .
Steadying support while you await the verdict. Waiting sucks. . .
Most people who don't take supplements are deficient in vitamin D and many have physical problems as a result.
Those of us who live in the north can't get enough sun in the winter which is the only way to get vitamin.
If you are buying vitamin D supplements, make sure it is vitamin D3. My doctor told me that.
Good luck
Yeah, it's very common. I live in the midwest and had a pretty significant vitamin D deficiency several years ago. In fact, I thought something was majorly wrong with me because I felt awful. I had what felt like bone pain and muscle pain, particularly in my legs, arms and shoulders, plus I felt really fatigued and kind of down. I had a bunch of lab work done and the only thing that came back abnormal was I had really low vitamin D. The doctor prescribed mega doses of vitamin D a few times a week and then I retested a month or so later (I think. It was a while ago and so I don't remember the exact retest time frame). Once it got into a more normal range, I just took a maintenance dose of vitamin D, like 2000 a day. I've been on the low end of a normal vitamin D range for years now and I have to say, I felt so much better a couple of months after I normalized a bit. There's protocol to follow to getting your range up if your deficiency is significant.
Right sided pain... is it in your breast specifically or on your side? Just curious. When I had gall bladder issues, it was all right sided pain... for months.
Glad you got your results back!
I live in Florida and havent spent alot of time outside this past year. I also take a multivitamin so im perplexed why im vit d deficient...
Nope its right breast pain particularly in the lymph node area.
Diet, wearing sunscreen all the time, certain digestive issues can cause low vitamin D. It could be the amount of vitamin d in your multi vitamin isn’t enough for you.
