Pariet Medication

Hi all,   my Doctor has put me on Pariet tablets.  He has said that this may stop my having to have my blood taken.  It is supposed to stop Iron from elevating in the stomach.  This drug is used for heartburn and ulcers. Usually reflux as well.   It is an inhibitor.  So I am trying it for the next 4 months, as I just had a venesection and iron levles are down.  Will see how it effects my Iron levels then.  It would be great if I only had to take 1 of these Pariet tablets a day and not have my blood taken every few months.  I have scarring around my vein where they have been putting the needle in.   Hope this information may help someone else.
