paper
This morning when I awoke, I got up, got dressed, and went outside to get my paper, while carrying a heavy heart. It was cold outside and I just had a short sleeve t-shirt on. I noticed that the cold made the hairs stand up on my forearms but the chill from the nippy air seemed minor by comparison.
I opened up the paper and browsed through the headlines. Spotted some interesting articles in the sports section.
A welcomed distraction from what lies ahead for the remainder of the day.

One day at a time, sometimes, one minute at a time! Sobriety is the most important thing you can do for yourself today.
MUSIC!!! makes things better,,,,keep playing..
((hugs))
TY Lucy and yes you are right but it still hurts nontheless.
Nora, you are right also, music helps me identify with my feelings.
Thankyou both. hugs
Bob, I totally use music to relate to my feelings a lot. What is your song of the day or week, or month? I send you big hugs and prayers!!
while it\'s certainly understandable that you still have great caring feelings for your wife, you must remember that YOU also have had an equal part in the marriage and all the property that has accumulated over the years. please don\'t just \"give in\" and allow her to take more than her half. you are important and deserve your portion of all assets. once you\'ve leagally aquired those assets, then you can always decide later to give her more....but for right now, you need to stand firm on what is rightfully yours. my thoughts and prayers are with you now. be strong and hang in there. better days are ahead, i promise you that.
Be careful with music. As with smell, it can evoke some powerful emotions. Take this one day at a time, cliche but it works. Struggle with the self blame, you have it, it\'s not all your fault. Do this slowly, take it easy on yourself.
