Panic Attacks

On Saturday, I had a panic attack.  My second one in two days.  I warned my co-worker that they are back.  He said, "Okay."  The second one occured when I got off work that morning.  My stupid neighbor was sitting outside on his balcony talking on the phone as if he was waiting for me.  I smiled and nodded, and the minute I stepped inside the panic attack became full blown for at least 5 minutes.  I grounded myself, but was not able to deal with the flashback I had at that time.  The clothes he was wearing were the exact ones he wore the night he raped me; hence, the panic attack.  I am still trying to work myself through the experience of the flashback.  I am doing what my counselor told me what to do in regards to the If.... then statements, but its a challenge; however, I know I will get through it.  Please keep praying.  Have  a great Memorial Holiday.  Love ya.

The person who loves God is the one God knows and cares for. I Cor 8:3 NLT; the scripture reminds me that no matter what is going on I can trust God to take care of me! Stand still and live in the moment, not the past. Easier said then done, but allow the power of the Lord to take control as you STAND STILL, PRAY AND WAIT.
