Paleontology

Yesterday I was tired of waiting for the Mesalands Community College in Tucumcari,New Mexico to call me back about my application to take Paleontology on-line.So I called them and finally got to speak to a person.I thought they lost me though when they said that they were transfering me to the professors main line at the museum.I did get to talk to his assistant and she took my name and number and said that he would call me back when he gto back from lunch.I thought that maybe they had taken a look at my application and saw that I was disabled and said that there is no way for him to do this type of thing,and I figured that was the end of it.But he did call me back and he wants me to come to Tucumcari this summer and go with the class on what he calls field classes where they go and actually dig up Dinosaur bones.He is pretty sure that they might even find some pretty good ones from the site where they have been finding a lot of new dinosaurs.He did say that they don`t have the on-line classes this year but thewy will have them next year.I can  still take the geology class that I have to have to be a paleontologist so at least I can get one of the classes out of the way before I get to take the one that I really wanted to.When I just graduated from High School I thought about taking these classes but didn`t know if my Dad would go along with it so I went to a trade school instead.But now that I am disabled and have lots of time on my hands I think I am going to do it.I already have the experance of going on dig`s with the Archeology Society from ENMU so I think I will enjoy doing this.It has been something that I have wanted to do for a long long time and now I can see me being able to do it.Anuway back to the professor,he sounded very interested in getting me to come with them,he even said that he would like me to go with them to Colorado and on up to Wyoming.He said they are going to some of the sites in Colorado and then on to Wyoming to the site that they have found a lot of pre-historic fish imbedded in rock.He said it would be for about 2 weeks.I have to see if any of my doctors appointments are at that time but I can`t remember if they are or not.If they are maybe I can reschedule them for some other day.I know that I can`t do as much as I used to but this is what I have always wanted to do.I just have to pace myself and not rush through things and no heavy lifting.Well I am going to go studdy up on my geology so see you later.
