From 2026, it offers 16–30 hours of play-based learning, prioritizing Aboriginal children, those from refugee backgrounds, or those with Child Protection involvement.

Erin is the passionate Service Manager at Story House Early Learning Pakenham, with over 21 years of experience in the early childhood sector and a Diploma in Children’s Services. Her love for early education began at just four years old when she told her kindergarten teacher she wanted to be just like her. She believes every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and inspired to grow, making each day a joyful step in their learning journey. The educational program is play-based and aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework, with a strong emphasis on individual learning plans and school readiness. Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers deliver the Victorian Government-approved kindergarten program for eligible 3 and 4-year-olds, collaborating with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition. As part of the daily fee, all classrooms receive weekly incursions from the Active8 Health and Fitness program, a structured physical education experience that runs year-round.
These partnerships help us apply for additional support, develop strategies, and create inclusive, nurturing environments where all children can thrive. Children express ideas and make meaning using a range of creative experiences, including painting, drawing, drama, dance, storytelling,music and craft activities.
