Painkillers!

I went to my regular doctor and I said what I said I was going to say. He was amazing.
He gave me the right type of medication for severe pain / chronic pain and wants to re-assess me next week after I see thr professor. He kept reassuring me I had the best doctor on my case (the professor)... and didnt charge me for the consultaiton since it was my THIRD time there for pain relief!
THANKYOU GOD.. finally!

Also.. the cyst on my wrist is a ganglian =S

I am so glad you finally got some sort of relief!! I\'m proud of you going in to your GP and expressing how bad it really is! Good for you girl!!

Make sure your GP transfers your visit to your professor. I really doubt he will question your pain but so they are all on the same page. And if whatever your GP gave you for pain Rx works, ask your professor if he can prescribe it for you or if you should continue getting it from your GP. Set up for your next refill right away, that way you aren\'t guessing if it will be done when you have to call and ask for a refill!

Hope you continue to have pain relief!!

Oh! And as for the cyst on your wrist, don\'t let that go too long. I have a friend that has one and it\'s now wrapped around it! These types of cysts are not cancerous but can cause problems in the long run just the same.

Have it checked out further!

I am glad you got what you needed. What did they give you for the severe pain. I am still working my speech for my doctors appointment.

Thanks SSWarning.. Im going to keep an eye on the cyst.. it only turned up this morning. And I shall make sure about the pain killers!

Jess, I got Tremadol 50mg taking 2 tablets 3 times daily with a max of 8 per day. They are fast acting for moderate - severe pain.

I\'ve taken two today. Im abit drowsy.. and still tender, my pain is very faint now.. So I think its helping :)
