Pain sucks
[Edited: Tramadol! I haven't been prescribed Diazepam since before I had my disc removed.... oops!) has been my best bet for pain management, lately, but I'm almost out (not surprising - I was only given 30 and that was months ago) and I don't have an easy way to get a refill. I could see this new doctor, but I don't feel like the long process of diagnosis which ultimately leads to "huh, well, how about some pain meds and muscle relaxants?" anyway. Sorry. Pain is putting me in a pissy "feel sorry for myself" mood. Curling up with a heating pad and hopefully napping may even my temperament. I hope so.

Phew, that\'s more like it. I was quite surprised with the diazepam being prescribed as analgesic ;-)
I am sorry you are in so much pain. Chronic pain sucks big time! It eats on you with you barely noticing how your quality of life deteriorates more and more and more...... I am sorry :-(.
So do you want a new prescription? I would look for a pain management center near you. Unfortunately they have a waiting list around here. I had to wait a week and so I had to resort other (uh humm)means to obtain my pain meds. Thankfully I\'m almost done needing them and have a full prescription now. So atleast I\'m covered for next time
Do you have \"other methods\" to obtain a few to hold you over until you get an appointment? Do you know what\'s causing the pain? I went through 4+ weeks of severe spasms that come and go in severity over the 4 weeks depending on my medication.
I take tizanadine for my spasms and Percocet for my pain. I also use a heating pad but it has to have moisture. Dry heat can worsen the condition. Make sure your putting a damp hot cloth over the heating pad.
I dampen a dish cloth and microwave it so it\'s hot as soon as I lay down.
I also let the massage shower head to slam on my back as I do stretches. I started magnesium oil on the muscle (which can sting if you\'ve burned your skin with heating pad), as well as magnesium powder to my water.
I\'m. Or sure if any of this helps, if not just scream \"FUCK THE WORLD!!!\" into a pillow and cry. That releases some tension lol.
