Pain omg this Fibro
As the old gospel song says,"Oh I'm tired and so weary but I must travel on, til the Lord comes and calls, calls me away, oh yea". There is so very much pain in this body from head to toe. I am honestly as tired of it as I possibly can be. I would like to scream, stomp, cry, curse and throw things at the wall. There were times in the past I did all that. How do I stay so calm anymore? Actually, it's more like dull and half dead. I was ready for bed 2 hours ago but have no energy to just walk over there to my room. Fatigue from Fibro is not really fatigue. It is more like fatigued, lethargic, exhausted, tired, weary and sleep deprived all rolled together. I always feel like I have a mild to severe hangover or a touch of the Flu or that I have a bad Flu. You wake and just know that several dump trucks ran over you in the night. My muscles and joints are screaming and I don't know how to help them. Nausea. Unexplained, the gastro doc could find no reason for this 9 year long severe nausea spell I am having. Dumb, oh how Fibro has made me dumb, has impaired my brain. Frustration, oh yes my good buddy that never goes away. Arghhh, I just feel so crappy right now. Sherry

Hi AzSherryberry, I totaly agree with your discription of the daily struggle. I did get a new med. Its called Belladonna & Opium suppositories. Works awesome for my pelvic pain, and even takes care of the fibro pain! In the past, things have worked for short periods so I am still sceptical, but am hopeful. Also, I have an appointment to get the trial spinal stimulator sergicaly installed! Yea, its been 11/2 years since I first asked for it. Some things need ironed out with the insurance, but the DR. doesn\'t see a hold up. Wish me luck, and I will keep you posted if you like.
Truly wish there was something I/we could do other than offer support. Please know we are thinking of you and praying for a lessening of the pain. Hang in there!

Thanks Erika, it\'s easiest to describe Fibro well when you feel it all as I did last night.
I feel like I am sounding like a broken record but this nausea that you are feeling: it is a frequent symptom of an irritated vagus nerve which wraps around your heart, stomach and intestines. It gives you that OMG! feeling when you hear really bad news. There are tests they can give you to see if it is the culprit. Sometimes, they can do something for it.
Oak, sorry I so often miss your replies/comments because you generally come around last. Save the best for last ehh. ; ) OK, I am going to google that vagus nerve now because it is awfully strange to have this blasted nausea so often and before any meds were taken and I wonder why the gastro didn\'t inform me of other possibilities outside the GI tract for a cause. Thank you. : )
