Pain, no pain

I cannot recall that I have ever felt a sharp pain from my damaged areas, but I would say that there is a constant dull pain.  I just have to remember that is a sign that I am alive.  If my soul were to leave this body, I would not feel anything.  I must remember, I am alive.
