Pain is my motivation!
I'm seriously the luckiest girl in the world to have Bobby. Yesterday we drove from my parents house straight to my school, a good 120+ miles so I could register for my last 11 weeks of college! I only have 3 classes this Summer and after those, I will be a college graduate. I can't believe I did this. And yesterday Bobby asked me while enjoying some good ol' California Mexican food, "Did you ever think you would be graduating from college right now?" And I said, "I always knew I would go to college, I just didn't know I would be in pain and going to college." And after I said that, it really hit me. I did all of this. I did. And I did it in more pain than I thought I would ever have to feel in my life. But I'm so glad I did it. So then it made me think - what would be my motivating factor if pain didn't exist? To be blunt, I probably wouldn't have this drive, fire, and motivation to do the damn thing as I like to say. Anyway - as I was saying, yesterday I was exhausted because I took my Mom to the casino for Mother's Day and let me tell you, my mom and I have true bonding experiences when we gamble. But she's a champ, we stayed there until 4am! And she went to work at 6am! And I'm still recovering. Hahaha! So bobby drove me all the way to school, took me out to lunch and some shopping, dropped me off at school and waited for me to get out at 10pm last night, only to have a present waiting in the car for me. I mean seriously - I'm a really lucky girl. Today I'm going to tackle some grocery shopping and make dinner for Bobby when he gets home from a long day at work. I might even get some baking in too. I'm feelin good - in pain - but good! Have a great day everyone!

This story just brought a smile to my face sweetie! By the by congrats this is wonderful news! Glad you have such a good person by your side cause I know how I am with my husband - best buddy as we call each other! Only gets better you know. As with school, just takes some work but you get there. And I cannot express how it makes me feel to hear that you have been in pain this long. I read your journals and I hear what you say - but there are times it just hits home a little harder. Glad you are feeling good - and I gotta ask - did we bake so I live vicariously through that too :) hugs
