Pain and rashes!
Hi all! Hope you are all doing ok.
The summer weather is causing a breakout behind my ears and sometimes my face and scalp to increase! But it's managable enough that I dont go to the doctors for it. In fact I have not gone to the doctors for it or my arthritis in many years! I avoid taking pain meds for the arthritis so as I wont become used to them and need something stronger. It makes me tired all day to be in pain but I still am able to go on. And the high humidity and rainy days as you all well know doesn't help! The only time I cave in is when I edge,weedwack and mow the lawn! Taking ibuprofen before bed and I can get up again the next day! Yay! LOL! Wish I could feel as good as I do that night after pain meds but I know how fast they stop working and back to pain all day! And now I also noticed more pain in my hands, even when I am doing nothing! Sucks but I can still do most everything except I have found I am having more difficulty opening my own bottles and jars! Who ever is over and sees me struggling always yells at me to give up hurting myself and hand it over to them! LOL! I'm stubborn when it comes to accepting help if I can possibly do it myself! I would rather do without than ask for help! I just cant stand the thought that I need help for anything! I keep thinking about the years to come and having to rely on anyone for anything! I will do without if at all possible before I ask for help! And yet I can recall doing the same thing when other people need help! " Let me help you!" I would say, "I don't mind and am glad to do it for you!" LOL!
