pain and misery
So, for the past two days I have had to sit thru a workshop at work. It really was kind of interesting but not something I can implement in my job. Yesterday I was noticing that I was becoming so stiff sitting in my chair. I usually don't have that problem. My lower spine ached, my right hand had spasms and my leg was stiff and sore. I started walking like Frankenstein but after walking for a little while it left me. Seemed like I got my muscles stretched out. Last night at home though I noticed my balance was extremely bad. I would turn around and almost fall down. Then my right leg just stopped working. So, today I have the Quasi Modo walk. My muscles ache terribly in my right arm from the shoulder to the hand. I cannot lift my right leg. In order to get my shoes on this morning I had to pick my leg up and put it on the other knee in order to bring it up to the shoe. I am also very tired. I have been tired all week. Even last week I noticed I was getting more tired than normal. Everyone at work is asking if it has something to do with the barometric change. We have a storm rolling in today. Honestly, I do not know. I have wondered that myself.
I have been slamming caffeine drinks because I can't keep my eyes open. Yesterday in my workshop some of my coworkers were asking me about the testing and what all the docs have done. These are people that I don't see on a daily basis and don't talk to a lot. The presenter at the workshop has a master's in Nursing and was telling me some things to try. She recommended salmon oil to help repair the myelin sheath. She also made sure I did not have any aspartame in my diet. She was very kind. Basically it is what it is. Everyone this morning told me that I am such a "trooper" because I still manage to come to work and deal with this aillment. I really don't have much choice do I?
I am feeling down. I do take my Effexor but that doesn't always keep the blues away. I feel rather hopeless with this mystery ailment of mine. More so than I think I have all year. I suppose at some point the docs will find what is wrong with me. In the meantime I just have to live with my leg not working all the time. I think the fatigue wears on me the most. The pain I can handle the dragging leg I can handle but being so tired all the time is hard. I get grumpy and sad and find it so hard to cope. I sleep like a rock so can't understand why I have this fatigue. I have always been a tired person anyway. I have never in my life felt like I get enough sleep. However, I have never felt this tired. It is miserable.

I completely understand. I get stiff if I sit too long. And the fatigue thing is awlful! I sleep hard and sound during the night and when I wake up, I am so tired. My friend told me the other day that I hold up well considering all I have been thru. But like you said, What choice to I have. I hope you feel better and maybe get some answers soon.
I meant \"What choice DO I have\". LOL! I can not type too good these days. I have used my backspace too many times. I type words that do not belong. LOL!
